Evening all,

Planefag Report 12th June

The Spoop Is all Around Edtiion

Before I get into my findings today, I want to share these with you. These are the Isle of Man and Jersey Registries of aircraft. There are 1100 aircraft registered in the Isle of Man!! O-o

I've downloaded the IOM registry (tail prefix M), filtered it by registration and turned it into a PDF so you can search it. Luckily there are only 2 aircraft on the Jersy registry (tail prefix ZJ).

The IOM registry needs a serious dig into by the Anons, as I think there's more progress to be made and paydirt to hit in the IOM list, it's been around a lot longer than the 2-reg list.

Part 2

Here's the Jersey registry with some of the planes from today, The Dutch went to Luxembourg and back. 2-MSTG seemed to be headed for the South of France but I lost it in the Loire Valley.

Part 6

All kinds of weird stuff was going on with 2-AVCO near Oxford. Within the space of ten minutes, it was like a Harrier on steroids, the altitude changed so much!!

(I think ADS-B was being messed with). It appeared to land at the old RAF base at Chalgrove, currently home to Martin-Baker, the ejector seat people.

Planefags and FinanceFags

I urge you to take a look through the Isle of Man registry I have posted earlier in this bread. Our work load has just gone up massively if we have to monitor M-reg planes too.

I've also made another connection in my head. These M-reg planes are also 'Military' rated to make elite's lives easier. I think all of those 'Blocked Callsign' planes we've been seeing at Turks and Caicos, Caymans, British Virgin Islands, Bermuda etc. are all highly likely to be M-reg planes, as they have 'Military' status and hence may not show up on Flightradar24 and Radarbox. The 'Military' rating is why we see them on ADS-B EXchange with the Military filter selected.

Am I making sense? It computes in my head.

Question: This is 2-ARTB. This can carry 6000kgs of cargo or 72 passengers. Why do the powers of evil need at least five of these aircraft?

We know of five that are in and around Europe at the moment. That's 30 tonnes of cargo or 360 people.

Now you understand why these planes have had me stressed out big time! 2-MAPP isn't a big concern as it's doing as it's name suggests, mapping.

With the NATO exercises going on, it's hard to pick them out unless they go outside of Europe. I'm glad that you show some skill in this area, well done!
