Baking Well

Baking, the process of transitioning threads, has a long tradition on the chans.

Each platform has its own approach and each board has its own baking culture.

But common to all is the sense that bakers hold a unique position when baking: they can make or break the bread they bake according to their competency, care & respect for the anons they serve.

No two bakers bake the same. No two have the same style or produce the same exact notables. But experienced bakers know how to more or less hit the mark most of the time and maintain their composure through thick and thin.

WELCOME to all new bakers.

You may be a solo baker but you're never really alone. Your job is practical but has overtones of something greater, which is why its traditions matter.

BAKING WELL means baking to serve: to serve the board, the bread, and the anons who post. Also to honor the tradition of baking itself. It's more than mastering the mechanics, it's preserving and honoring the spirit of the bake.
