i read a letter a while back, from a citizen in mayor pete's town.
mayor pete had bought an expensive fleet of garbage trucks.
only trouble is that they were too big to get into the servitude roads where the trash cans were lined up.
citizen commented: this is what happens when your mayor thinks the back lane is something you play games with, instead of being a waste disposal channel.
that letter completely disappeared, never found the story again.
now that mayor pete is transport secretary, someone should dig that tale up again.
