I went to school for IT back in late 90's and learned all kinds of shit. One thing i picked up on was hastags were machine categorizing. It is to set up to catagorize things. #bigtits or #momsfordrunksex.. whatever it is it is a way to categorize and inventory pieces of info into a catalog or database. That means it was used to associate people w certain ideals/beliefs/causes/thoughts/associations. It was a way for them to build profiles on what your beliefs are, what u stand for and all. Hashtags have been used for what? About 8ish years, maybe a tad longer.. all played into "THEM" building profiles on people as a way to minipulate and control people.
