The Institute of Public Affairs’ Evan Mulholland says the fact the Andrews government would be willing to fine businesses $54,000 for failing to comply with single-use plastic bans shows its “warped priorities”.
“These are businesses that have been absolutely smashed through lockdown and Daniel Andrews is willing to punish them even further,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
