Don't blame Sessions, blame Clapper and the intelligence community:
A January 2017 assessment by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) stated that Russian leadership favored presidential candidate Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, and that Russian president Vladimir Putin personally ordered an "influence campaign" to harm Clinton's electoral chances and "undermine public faith in the US democratic process."
Politically, DJT, Sessions and Wray had to allow the Mueller investigation to go forward. Blame the mockingbird media and the (((cabal))) that owns and manages it.
Meanwhile, in the background the DOJ Inspector General, Horowitz began investigating the (((cabal's))) deep state operatives in January of 2017.
Sessions appointed Huber to prosecute the criminals once the investigation was complete.
One cannot blame Sessions for the Mueller Investigation.
