Captain Boston, along with Admiral Kidd, conducted the immediate investigation of the 1967 attack on the USS Liberty, killing 34 sailors and seriously injuring 172 … many burned by napalm.
Captain Boston clearly states that the published report was NOT the one he had signed off on as MANY changes were made.
Omitted was the deliberate machine gunning of the 3 life rafts placed overboard.
