good question - hope not.
The law of moses is not the same as keeping the Fathers commandments.
Jesus told those who accused him of breaking the law of Moses that they were of their father the devil, a liar and murderer from the start. Moses lied and murdered remember? According to the scripture Moses sinned and then blamed the people for God being angry at him. He took no responsibility. The exact opposite of Jesus. Jesus said Moses is the accuser. Jesus loved us as Himself and died for us.
Jesus kept the Fathers commandments. "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
"Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
"For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
