The process here is this. DJT and team plant stuff in Cohen's offices and other places of residence/business. All of it. The Dirt on Hillary, the cabal… ALL OF IT. Now it's in the hands of the FBI. Suddenly, you have all this evidence, and no way to get it into court.
Discovery keeps getting brought up. Discovery happens when someone says "Hey, gonna sue your ass" and then the defendant goes "OK, gimme everything you got, asshole". Suddenly, they admit everything in possession into court. Rudy knows because he worked with everyone in NY Southern District where a lot of the (now clean) team of prosecutors reside.
