when he nabbed a russian spy (fbi agent)

 

 

the jist of the story:

 

there was this mormon fbi agent in los angeles fbi office

 

he had gained weight and been put at a desk job

 

he was approached by a beautiful russian woman

 

and thought it was his chance to make a big case

 

he befriended her (or vise versa)

 

and she asked him to help her straighten out her russian visa

 

so

 

this mormon, happily married man and father

 

drove the Svetlanka woman to San Francisco

 

and the deed was done

 

he got caught

 

the fbi prosecuted him

 

there were two hung juries

 

juries did not convict twice

 

enter adam schitt fresh out of law school

 

DA or something, prosecutor

 

turns the case into a high profile prosecution

 

gets that dang mormon convicted, by golly

 

who later died in prison

 

ruined his marriage, kicked out of church

 

twas a honeypot, seems to me

 

but Schitt's name was in the papers for it

 

the LA fbi office got rid of a party pooper

 

time to run for office

 

there is a lot of bad history about this Schitt

 

amazing

 

his daughter's name is Alexa

 

made me wonder if it was a gift just for him

 

to have a "bugging" system named for his daughter
