But the crust is flexible. This means that if you place more weight on it in one spot it will give and drop in elevation relative to the rest of the crust. Think of a beachball or balloon. Press down in one spot and it rises in another. So stop it with this sea level shit. Because you really don't know what is going to happen if a significant portion of the polar ice caps are converted to liquid form.
