Ukrainian military targeted chemical plant in Gorlovka, DPR

The Ukrainian military attacked the Stirol chemical plant in Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on Friday, according to Ivan Prikhodko, adding that the plant's territory had caught fire.

"Ukrainian ‘nazis’ fired at the Stirol plant. There is fire on the territory of the enterprise. We are clarifying the information!" Prikhodko divulged to this channel on Telegram.

Last week, Ukrainian forces attacked the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP), cutting two electricity transmission lines. Over 10,000 inhabitants from the Zaporozhye region have been left without power and water due to the aggression.

The Russian Defense Ministry is considering the shelling of the Zaporozhye power plant by Ukrainian forces an act of nuclear terrorism under a UN convention adopted by a resolution of the UNGA, according to the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev.

"Under the international convention adopted by the resolution of the UN General Assembly of April 13, 2005, we consider these criminal actions of the Ukrainian authorities to be an act of nuclear terrorism," Mizintsev told a briefing.

The official said that if an accident were to happen, which the shelling could potentially cause, the effects would surpass the scale of Chernobyl and Fukushima - the entire terriories of Ukraine, Donetsk, Lugansk, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania would be contaminated by nuclear waste.

Today, Thursday, Russia accused the office of the United Nations Secretary-General of obstructing the work of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts and preventing them from visiting the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in eastern Ukraine.

Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said that the United Nations was impeding the work of the IAEA during the United Nations Security Council meeting held on Thursday in New York to discuss the NPP's issue.

Nebenzia addressed the member states of the security council by saying that Russia has since the beginning been supporting the IAEA's efforts to guarantee the safety of the Ukrainian nuclear facilities.

"We were able to solve all the difficult issues related to organizing and conducting a visit of this kind. However, at the very last moment, the UN general secretariat turned on the red light, canceling the visit," Nebenzia said.

The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Friday, revealed the search warrant that was used by the FBI to conduct a raid of former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago residence.

The search warrant, signed by Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on August 5, authorized a raid on Trump's residence until August 19. The FBI, based on that document, searched Mar-A-Lago on August 8.

Investigators took a number documents - 11 classified documents - which included materials labeled "Top Secret."

Trump said on Friday in a statement that all materials kept at his residence were declassified and stored securely.

The search warrant indicates that the raid was carried out as part of a probe into potential violations of the Espionage Act, removal or destruction of records, and obstruction of an investigation.

Trump residence raid: FBI recovers 11 classified documents

After raiding former US President Donald Trump's Florida house, the FBI has recovered 11 sets of classified documents, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The publication's report divulges that FBI agents recovered 11 sets of classified documents, including some labeled "Top Secret."

In addition, about 20 boxes of materials were retrieved from Trump's residence, including handwritten notes, executive orders, and other documents, according to the report.

After the FBI raided Trump's Mar-A-Lago residence in Florida on August 8, Trump accused his political enemies of weaponizing the judicial system against him.

Today, Friday, Trump dismissed a report that FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago residence in aim to search for classified nuclear weapon documents.

"Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Muller investigation was a Hoax and much more. Same sleazy people," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump also questioned why the FBI wouldn't allow his lawyers to be present during the inspection, accusing them of 'planting' evidence in the mansion.

In a recent poll, over three-quarters of Republicans believe that the political enemies of former President Donald Trump are behind the FBI’s recent raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence.
