OSBI announces multiple arrests related to sexual exploitation of children OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation announced the arrests two men on charges related to the sexual exploitation of children.

One case stems back to October 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forwarded a cyber tip they received from an electronic service producer to OSBI.

The IP address traced back to an East 1st Street address in Amber. Investigators say 32-year-old Carl Lee Moore used his neighbor's unsecured IP address to upload and share child porn.

A search warrant was served on Tuesday and Moore was arrested.

He was charged with possession of child porn, distribution of child porn, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Also on Tuesday, 48-year-old William Pope was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Harrison County, Texas on an arrest warrant out of Pittsburg County.

The warrant was for buying, possessing, or procuring obscene material.

Investigators said the case against Pope began after a social media platform reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a user was posting images that had been flagged as child pornography.

A search warrant was issued for the social media platform and agents said they found several child sexually explicit materials.

An arrest warrant had been issued in March. Pope was transferred back to Pittsburg County, where he is being held on a $260,000 bond.
