Six years, to fight in a six week trial, not to mention the sixteen days in the UK; that's an expensive point to make. The thing I found the most interesting was the process, the legal arguments, learning more about how defamation works, the specific definition of malice, burden of proof and other legal expectations.
Shrug, I admit I will be disappointed if Amber Heard is in anyway found to be telling the truth. I think the Depp's team were substantially successful in presenting facts of the damage to Johnny's career and reputation; and was successful in countering any and all evidence Heard's team tried submit that proves her allegations.
