The Jeep Cherokee was paid for by the Chinese government (but I doubt you'll easily find sauce for this). As a part of having a Chinese joint venture you have to have a Party member working at your company in a management position.
The place has had varying levels of corruption going since it began. Union / Mafia involvement and so on. Lots of Cabal in middle management; but at that level there is a good deal of normal people there too.
Big tech Cabal slowly started to filter into high exec positions after 2016; human resources, IT security, CTO, CIO and so on. Not that they weren't already infiltrated; they needed an infusion of big tech people.
Google, Facebook, Amazon shit was getting used all over the place. Then the merged again with Peugeot and now have become completely controlled by the EU (simply because it is majority controlled)
Also had pharma people on the board when covid started too.
