Calls for Scott Morrison to resign as full extent of ‘deception’ revealed

The full extent of the additional portfolios held by Scott Morrison has been revealed, with one minister he secretly usurped now calling for him to resign.

Scott Morrison has issued a statement on his secret appointment to additional portfolios during his time as prime minister, saying he did so “in good faith”.

“I used such powers on one occasion only, I did not seek to interfere with ministers in the conduct of their portfolio as there were no circumstances which wanted their use except in the case of the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources,” Mr Morrison said.

“I’ve endeavoured to set up the context and reasoning for the decisions I took as Prime Minister in a highly unusual time, did so in good faith seeking to exercise my responsibilities as Prime Minister.”

It comes after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese revealed his predecessor secretly held five additional portfolios between March 2020 and May 2021 during his time as prime minister – in some cases without the existing ministers’ knowledge.

Between March 2020 and May 2021, Mr Morrison took control of the Departments of Health, Finance, Resources, Home Affairs and Treasury.

The bombshell revelation has sparked calls for him to resign and leave parliament.

Former Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews told news.com.au she had “no idea” the former Prime Minister had sworn himself into her portfolio.

“I am going to ask him to resign and leave Parliament,’’ she said.

“I have nothing to say to him.

“This is totally unacceptable, For a Prime Minister to behave in this manner undermines everything that a federal government constitutionally should stand for.”

When asked if he would also call on Mr Morrison to resign, Liberal Party Leader Peter Dutton replied: “No, I wont.”

Lawsuits Against Vaccine Manufacturer: Alleged Life-Changing Side Effects

Dozens of lawsuits against Merck & Co. allege plaintiffs suffer severe side effects after taking the HPV vaccine. The United States Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation issued an order on Aug. 4, consolidating over 30 cases so they’ll be heard by the same judge. Lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is representing some of the plaintiffs in the case. He tells NTD this vaccine does more harm than good.

Greyhound Dog Contracts Monkeypox from Gay Owners

The monkeypox case is the first to be observed in a pet.The disease is sexually transmitted.

A greyhound dog in Paris, France has reportedly been diagnosed with monkeypox, contracting the disease from its gay owners in what is being reported as the first documented case of human-to-animal transmission of the virus, which has been largely isolated to gay communities after being introduced to the Western World at gay sex parties in Europe.

“A greyhound dog caught Monkeypox from their owners, a non-monogamous gay couple in Paris,” Dr. David Samadi, who regularly contributes medical news and viewpoints to Newsmax, wrote in a tweet, going on to describe the disturbing symptoms the dog has demonstrated.

“The greyhound developed an anal ulceration & mucocutaneous lesions,” Samadi explained, reporting that “the method of transmission was not made immediately clear,” by the French.

Monkeypox, which is of the smallpox family, produces painful scarring lesions and sores on its victims. Previously unheard of in the Western World, the disease is surging in gay communities after it broke loose at a pair of European gay sex parties.

Health officials have toed a fine line to avoid being accused of homophobia amidst the disease outbreak. Those who haven’t acknowledged the disease enough have been accused of ignoring it, while those who have issued recommendations on how to stop its spread, like not attending orgies, have been accused of being insensitive to gay culture.

Former NRL player Brett Finch pleads guilty to using a carriage service to send child abuse material

Former NRL star Brett Finch has pleaded guilty to sending child abuse material using an adult phone chat service.

Key points:

Brett Finch was arrested at his San Souci home during a police raid in December 2021

Police allege he was part of a child abuse material ring using an adult phone chat service

Finch retired from the NRL at the end of the 2013 season after 330 games

Finch was one of eight men arrested in late 2021 as part of investigations into an alleged child abuse material ring.

The former State of Origin halfback pleaded guilty to one count of using a carriage service to transmit or publish child abuse material, while a further six charges were withdrawn by prosecutors.

Finch sat emotionless as he fronted Sydney's Downing Centre Local court on Tuesday morning.

His lawyer, Paul McGirr, told reporters outside court his client was seeking treatment for mental health issues.

"We just ask that everyone remember that there [are] mental health issues in play and we have to respect that at this stage," he said.

Finch retired from the NRL at the end of the 2013 season after 330 games for the Raiders, Roosters, Storm and Wigan Warriors, after making his debut in 1999.

Detectives raided Finch's San Souci home in December 2021, arresting him and seizing a mobile phone for forensic examination.

At the time, police alleged members of the ring "expressed desires to engage [in] sexual activities with children" on an adult phone chat service.

NSW Police's child abuse and sex crimes squad established Strike Force Hank to probe the alleged activities of men using the chat service.

Finch will remain on bail, and face court again in September.
