The first lady is currently traveling with the president, who recently caught the coronavirus and relapsed after recovery

US First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, despite receiving a total of four vaccine doses. President Joe Biden recently left isolation after a lengthy bout with the virus, while Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is currently sick for the second time.

“After testing negative for Covid-19 on Monday during her regular testing cadence, the First Lady began to develop cold-like symptoms late in the evening. She tested negative again on a rapid antigen test, but a PCR test came back positive,” Biden’s communications director, Elizabeth Alexander, said in a statement.

Biden, who received her second booster shot in April, is experiencing only mild symptoms, Alexander added. She will remain in South Carolina until she receives two consecutive negative tests, and has been prescribed a course of Paxlovid, an antiviral drug manufactured by Pfizer.

The first lady is currently in South Carolina with President Joe Biden, who is due to return to Washington later on Tuesday. President Biden, who has also been double vaccinated and received two booster shots, tested positive for Covid-19 on July 21, and stayed in isolation until he tested negative five days later. However, he tested positive again after another three days, and returned to isolation until last week.

Biden’s physician noted that the president had suffered “rebound Covid positivity,” where patients taking Paxlovid seem to recover, before falling ill again. White House Coronavirus Czar Dr. Anthony Fauci experienced the same outcome when he treated his case of Covid-19 with Paxlovid in May.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who is also vaccinated and boosted, tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday, having been in contact with President Biden in late July. Austin had already caught the coronavirus in January, but insisted that his vaccination status made his symptoms “less severe than would otherwise be the case.”

Russia accuses UK of ‘deliberate provocation’

The Defense Ministry says the British Air Force lodged a request to allow a reconnaissance plane to fly over Russia

Britain’s Royal Air Force is carrying out a provocative action in Russian airspace, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has warned. The statement came after the UK requested permission for a reconnaissance plane to fly over Russian territory.

On Tuesday, Russian military officials revealed that a “request has been lodged by the UK for the passing of a British reconnaissance plane RC-135 along a route which goes over the territory of the Russian Federation, among other countries.”

The ministry emphasized that it deemed “this action to be a deliberate provocation.”

The statement went on to say that the Russian Air Force had been tasked with preventing any “violation of the Russian Federation’s airspace.”

Moscow also pointed out that “all possible consequences” of the planned reconnaissance flight would “rest solely with the UK.”

The Russian Defense Ministry’s warning comes hard on the heels of another incident involving a British reconnaissance aircraft.

On Monday, military officials in Moscow claimed that an RC-135 surveillance jet – the same model as the one mentioned in Britain’s latest passage request – had entered Russian airspace in the Barents Sea near the city of Murmansk and major bases of the country’s Navy’s Northern Fleet. A Russian MiG-31BM interceptor forced the intruder to leave Russian airspace.

This was the first known incursion of NATO aircraft into Russian territory since Russia launched its military operation in Ukraine in late February.

Earlier that month, Moscow claimed that a US submarine had entered Russian waters and was subsequently chased off near the Kuril Islands in the northern Pacific – which the Pentagon denied at the time.

According to Moscow’s estimates, in 2021 alone, the number of reconnaissance flights by NATO aircraft rose by over 30%.

Postal Service Institutionalizes Ballot Interference Scheme with New Mail-in Ballot Division

Democrats just passed a $700 spending bill — during a recession — with record 8.6% inflation.

The new spending bill will force middle class Americans to pay $20 billion more in taxes.

The bill will create 87,000 new IRS agents to harass Americans and target their political enemies.

And Democrats did all of this less than three months before an election.

Democrats are NOT worried about the midterms.

A major part of their election scheme is the work done by the US postal service with mail-in ballots.

Democrats NEED mail-in ballots and Democrats NEED the assistance of the US postal service.

Chuck DeVore published this warning to the nation on the Democrat’s mail-in voting scheme at The Federalist.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced on July 28 that it was creating the Election and Government Mail Services division. Adrienne E. Marshall, a USPS veteran, was named as the division’s first director, with Marc Elias, the Democrat’s foremost lawfare professional and longtime proponent of elections by mail, tweeting out his approval.

The rationale for this new division is that the growing use of mail-in ballots requires extra attention to ensure the greater volume of mailed ballots can be handled by an increasingly overburdened USPS.

The USPS reported it delivered more than 135 million ballots in 2020, with 40 million delivered so far this year during the primaries.

Elections conducted by mail have been a longtime goal of Elias and others since long before public health fears over in-person voting during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is instructive to note that most European nations found mail-in ballots to be susceptible to fraud and limited their use.

Among other problems, mail-in ballots can be cast by someone other than the voter, voter ID measures are harder to ensure absent in-person voting with a government-issued ID, and the secret ballot is more easily compromised by professional ballot traffickers who “help” the voter fill in their ballot. Thus, mail-in ballots will be an increasingly important part of the Democratic election playbook.

And once again, the GOP, a subsidiary of the DNC is completely silent.

Ex-Boston prosecutor and social justice advocate accused of rape at NYC hotel

A social justice advocate and former Boston prosecutor has been indicted for allegedly raping a woman at a New York City hotel, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Adam Foss, 42, of Los Angeles, was freed without bail at his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree rape and sexual abuse.

Judge Curtis Farber granted him supervised release at the request of prosecutors, with the condition that he surrender his passport, the DA’s office said.

Foss — a public speaker and founder of the social justice organization Prosecutor Impact — is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman while she slept in a room at a Midtown hotel on Oct. 21, 2017.

He and the victim had been calling and texting for a month prior to the date, when she repeatedly rebuffed his efforts to have sex before the two fell asleep, prosecutors said.

Foss, who’s given lectures on criminal justice reform for TED Talk, then allegedly took advantage of the woman as she slept and “was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless,” the indictment alleges.

Singer Raegan Sealy in 2020 publicly accused Foss of raping her after the pair met at an event where she was performing and he was giving a speech. A spokesperson for the DA’s office said they couldn’t confirm whether the woman in the indictment was Sealy, as they don’t reveal victim identities.

In an essay on Medium, Sealy claimed she told Foss, “I’m not having sex with you tonight, you’re too drunk” before repeatedly telling him to stop as he continued to try to initiate the sexual encounter.

Finally, he relented, saying, “Fine. Night Raegan,” she wrote. But then in the middle of the night, Sealy claimed, she awoke to Foss having sex with her.

“I was in too much shock to say anything. I didn’t tell him to stop. I froze,” she wrote.

Foss’ lawyer Robert Gottlieb called the allegations “preposterous” and said the encounter was consensual.

“The complaining has numerous times made statements that reflect a consensual relationship that she wanted to continue even after the date that she alleges that a crime occurred,” Gottlieb said in court.

“There is evidence known to the prosecutors that even following the date at issue the complaining witness sent texts and was sexting with our client in the hopes of continuing a sexual relationship.”

Judge Orders Twitter to Give Elon Musk Former Executive’s Documents

WILMINGTON, Del—Twitter Inc. needs to give Elon Musk documents from a former Twitter executive who Musk said was a key figure in calculating the amount of fake accounts on the platform, according to a Monday court order.

Bot and spam accounts on Twitter have become a central issue in the legal fight over whether Musk, who is Tesla Inc.’s chief executive, must complete his $44 billion acquisition of the social media company.

Twitter was ordered to collect, review and produce documents from former General Manager of Consumer Product Kayvon Beykpour, according to the order from Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Twitter and lawyers for Musk, the world’s richest person, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Beykpour, who left Twitter after the social media company agreed in April to be acquired by Musk, was described in Musk’s court filings as one of the executives “most intimately involved with” determining the amount of spam accounts.

Beykpour did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent through LinkedIn.

McCormick said in her order on Monday that she was denying Musk’s request for access to 21 other people with control over relevant information.

Musk’s legal team had written to McCormick last week asking her to order Twitter to hand over employee names so they could be questioned.

Musk accused Twitter earlier this month of fraud for misrepresenting the number of real active users on its platform, which Twitter has denied. The company has accused him of breaching his agreement to acquire the company and wants McCormick to order him to complete the deal at $54.20 a share.

Twitter’s stock closed up 0.5 percent at $44.50 per share on Monday.

Research Reveals COVID Lockdowns Claimed 20x More Life Years Than They Saved.

A new study reveals just how damaging the policy was.

COVID-19 lockdowns could be responsible for claiming 20 times more lives than they were advertised to save, according to a new analysis published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

The paper, which bases its conclusions on a comprehensive review of other relevant, lockdown-focused literature, was authored by researchers at the Jerusalem College of Technology.

“In this work, we performed a narrative review of the works studying the above effectiveness, as well as the historic experience of previous pandemics and risk-benefit analysis based on the connection of health and wealth,” summarized the article, titled “Are Lockdowns Effective in Managing Pandemics?”

“The comparative analysis of different countries showed that the assumption of lockdowns’ effectiveness cannot be supported by evidence—neither regarding the present COVID-19 pandemic, nor regarding the 1918–1920 Spanish Flu and other less-severe pandemics in the past,” argue the researchers.

The team proceeds to quantify the estimated number of lives lost due to the COVID-19 mitigation measure, which drew strong support from Democrats and public health officials including Anthony Fauci, Deborah Birx, and Mike Pence:

The price tag of lockdowns in terms of public health is high: by using the known connection between health and wealth, we estimate that lockdowns may claim 20 times more life years than they save.

The paper also exposes how governments and international health organizations’ embrace of lockdowns was at odds with their stance on the public health policy prior to COVID-19.

Ex-FBI CNN Analyst Mocked For Comparing ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ To Pledging Allegiance to ISIS

Asha Rangappa, a CNN analyst and former special agent with the FBI, received blowback after apparently equating a pilot saying ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ to one announcing their allegiance to ISIS.

The problem began when left-wingers had a collective meltdown over the weekend, after a journalist claimed that a pilot for Southwest Airlines on a Friday morning flight from Houston to Albuquerque concluded announcements over the intercom with the mundane phrase.

‘Let’s go Brandon’ represents a more palatable euphemism for a more vulgar phrase: ‘F*** Joe Biden.’

Southwest has opened up an investigation on the pilot after the online furor, stating that a “public expression of personal opinions while on duty is unacceptable.”

Rangappa found it to be even worse than that, appearing to conflate “Let’s go Brandon” to somebody pledging allegiance to ISIS.

“As an experiment, I’d love for a [Southwest Airline] pilot to say ‘Long live ISIS’ before taking off,” she said, then describing how such a scene would unfold.

Private Jet Usage "Flies" To Record Highs, Even Among Climate Outrage

As concern about the climate, or at least virtue signaling about the climate, ramps higher each day, so does private jet use. Especially among celebrities.

Funny how that happens, right?

And now thanks to the Twitter accounts over at @CelebJets and @ElonJet, we are well aware when people like Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift or Elon Musk take flight in their private jets. Such was the topic of a new Wall Street Journal report out over the weekend that looked at the backlash to private jet use.

The Twitter accounts make the world privy to each flight, even ones like the 17 minute flight Jenner took in July, resulting in her being branded a "climate criminal". Jokes about Taylor Swift's jet usage resulted in memes of her using her jet to go to Starbucks and her refridgerator.

“Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect," Taylor Swift's spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal.

The owner of the Twitter accounts, 20 year old Jack Sweeney, says he is hoping the data being public will force private fliers "to be more efficient".

As the WSJ notes, so far the data has only caused climate outrage. But this hasn't stopped private flights from rising 30% since 2019, the report says. The industry has seen "record growth" since the beginning of the pandemic.

Darren Banham, chief executive of Discovery Jets, a charter and jet management company, told WSJ: “I’ve been in the private jet market for the last 10 years, and on the aviation commercial side for 22, and I’ve never seen the private-jet business like this.”

New customers, including those interested in shared planes and on-demand charter services, are turning up. In fact, 75% of clients at one popular private jet firm, JB Jets, are first time fliers. Every time a celebrity posts about flying private, in addition to fueling outrage, it offers a "tailwind" to the industry. Sometimes people even rent the jets by the hour because of how easy they are to navigate and schedule.

JB Jets founder Ben Parker said: “You can show up 15 minutes before, five minutes before. You can show up late, and the plane will wait for you.”

Clients are interested in basic amenities, for the most part, Parker says. “People believe our clients want caviar and Champagne, but believe it or not, they usually want McDonald’s or Burger King. But we usually hear about it if the water is Essentia and not Fiji.”
