Don't forget that Wray was involved in removing the bad actors from the FBI during Trump's term. I am having a hard time reconciling that with the latest actions, I think it is possible he is sabotaging Biden.
The Democrats are really committed to the idea of having fake Republicans like Cheney to be their mouthpieces to try and look thy are generating a "bipartisan" effort. People are on to it now though after they all outed themselves with Trump. But this has been going on for a very long time.
