An Italian greyhound contracted the monkeypox virus from its human owners, researchers say.
A dog has tested positive for the monkeypox virus in the first suspected case of humans transmitting it to their pets, according to a medical journal.
An Italian greyhound living in France with its two male owners, who were infected with monkeypox, began showing symptoms 12 days after they did, according to The Lancet.
The 4-year-old pup tested positive after experience lesions and pustules on its abdomen, researchers said. The animal had no previous medical maladies.
Genetic testing showed the virus affecting all three was monkeypox.
The men had isolated themselves from other humans after developing symptoms, but continued to sleep with their dog.
“Our findings should prompt debate on the need to isolate pets from monkeypox virus-positive individuals,” the report said.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had previously warned about human-to-pet transmission, noting that “infected animals can spread monkeypox virus to people."
People infected with monkeypox should avoid petting, hugging, kissing or sharing food with their pets, researchers warned.

Between all four offices, the whistleblower speculates that around eight to 10,000 children are being moved per week, with estimates reaching up to 40,000 per month.
In a recent interview, an anonymous whistleblower who works as a "travel youth care worker" for a federally funded contractor, shared that tens of thousands of unaccompanied migrant children are being bussed and flown throughout the US and being handed off to unvetted adult "sponsors."
The employee, who works for the government contracted company, MVM Inc., said that the company’s main focus is getting unaccompanied minors from "Point A, shelters," to "Point B, sponsors," across the US.
However, due to the overwhelming number of border crossings, the employee shared that new hires for MVM Inc. are not being given proper background checks, "a lot of people" get hired, and "their background hasn’t even come in yet."
He also explained that due to the mass amount of migrant children being escorted, employees are not properly vetting the adults they’re handing these kids off to.
An email sent to employees of MVM Inc. highlighted multiple issues that were brought to the MVM site manager’s attention, including "TSs (Travel Escorts) taking the liberty of accepting alternate documents without FFS approval."
The whistleblower goes on to explain that, "It’s an email where they’re pinpointing that, hey you guys are accepting stuff, IDs that were not approved. You guys are approving these people who are not on the list or were not approved."
"Sometimes there are people who are not even on any documents for the child, and it tends to happen where these sponsors will show up and they will say, 'oh, I’m here for the kid,' but it’s really the sister or a neighbor, cause the sponsor didn’t feel like going."
When asked why an adult would want to sponsor one of these children, he shared that the US Dept of Health and Human Services (HHS) provides migrant children with a form of documentation.
The employee shared that when he drops off a child, "The sponsor will say 'Hey, my sister was able to get her driver's license in LA. They were able to get her driver's license in New York City with this paper. Do you have it?" He further explains that the child sponsors can also use this paper as their own form of identification to acquire a driver license in sanctuary cities such as New York or Los Angeles.
This interview also gave insight into the number of unaccompanied minors illegally crossing into the US in the Texas region of the border.
The whistleblower explains that charter flights and buses are utilized to bring these children across the US. "When it’s charter planes, we move anywhere between 200 to 300 kids on one plane," he explains, "It won’t just be one plane, it’ll be two, three planes at a time that leave."
The whistleblower explained the charter flights that bring these children across the US, start with a drop off in Texas before moving onto New York, California, and Washington, reaching a final destination in Oregon or a nearby state.
He goes on to share that in just his office alone employees will move up to 5,000 children per week. MVM Inc. has three other offices throughout Texas in El Paso, Houston and San Antonio. Between all four offices, the whistleblower speculates that around eight to 10,000 children are being moved per week, with estimates reaching up to 40,000 per month.
On top of children being given to improperly vetted adults, the whistleblower also shared that due to the lack of identification for these children, adults or alleged cartel members are often placed in the same shelter as them.
He goes on to detail how the kids will make statements such as, "that kid threatened me in there…he also mentioned he is not the age that he says that he is." He further explains that, "the kids talk amongst themselves and they know who to stay away from."
Lately, Democratic mayors such as Muriel Bowser of DC and Eric Adams of New York have been complaining about Republicans governors bussing thousands of migrants to their states. When asked if it was Republicans to blame for the uptick in illegal immigrants or companies like MVM Inc., the whistleblower shared, "It’s us. We’ve been doing it since Biden came into the administration, a little bit before that. And it picked up way a lot when Biden came into office."

MVM previously signed a federal contract for $136 million back in 2021. When asked to confirm this, the employee responded with "correct," elaborating that things like flights or food are paid for, with the payment ranging from "$2,000 to $5,000 to pay for a trip of two coworkers, two transport workers, and two kids. But a lot of times groups are five kids, three coworkers, and it’s multiple offices.”
This federal contract was reported on by The Daily Beast in May of 2021, titled "Biden Showers Cash on Ex-CIA Contractor to Transfer Migrants."
The article reveals that MVM Inc. was awarded a $136 million contract by the Biden administration, "for the transport of migrant families and unaccompanied minors in government custody." MVM Inc. has also previously served as a contractor for the CIA and NSA in Iraq.
In response to a request for comment, MVM Inc. said, "Your proposed story leverages some serious allegations that are factually incorrect."
"First, MVM is not responsible for sponsor vetting – so this allegation is patently false," they said, pointing in the direction of the Office of Refugee Resettlement for questions. "Separately, background checks are required for employment with MVM."

As a potential remedy to economically 'obsolete' people, Yuval Noah Harari proposed government redistribution of wealth, not just nationally, but globally.
(LifeSiteNews) – Top World Economic Forum (WEF) adviser Yuval Noah Harari recently declared that the world does not “need the vast majority” of the current population due to technological advances.
Harari made the bold declaration in an interview with Chris Anderson, head of the popular TED media group, echoing past predictions of a “useless class” of “unemployable” humans.
Harai suggested that, in a departure from the 20th century, when the “big heroes” of political systems’ prevailing narratives were always “the common people,” now in the 21st century, people “are no longer part of the story of the future.” Instead, according to Harari, they have been replaced by artificial intelligence (AI) and displaced by a high-tech economy.
The author and lecturer presented to Anderson the “hypothesis” that anxiety about being displaced in the future economy by AI and a highly educated “tech” class is partly at the root of the world’s “disillusionment and backlash against the liberal order.”
“Part of what might be going [on] is people realize — and they’re correct in thinking that, ‘The future doesn’t need me. … Maybe if they are nice, they will throw some crumbs my way, like universal basic income.’ But it’s much worse psychologically to feel that you are useless than to feel that you are exploited,” Harari said.
“Now, fast forward to the early 21st century when we just don’t need the vast majority of the population,” Harari continued, “because the future is about developing more and more sophisticated technology, like artificial intelligence [and] bioengineering.”
Harari added that “these technologies increasingly will make redundant” “whatever people are still doing which is useful,” and will thus “make it possible to replace the people.”
While he conceded to Anderson that technologies such as AI will open up new and “more interesting jobs,” Harari argued that “it’s not clear that many humans will be able to do them, because they will require high skills and a lot of education.”
Anderson doggedly proposed ways in which human beings could — and he suggested, should — continue to play a valuable part in the world economy, or at least society.
“So again, trying to desperately apply some sort of more hopeful spin on this … a lot of the jobs that are being displaced are actually kind of boring jobs that don’t really tap into the core of what the human is,” Anderson said.
He went on to point out that “When you step back, there’s no shortage of things that need to be done,” including addressing the world’s “millions of lonely people.”

“People are really good at making lonely people not feel lonely, and pretty much anyone can do that,” Anderson noted. “You know, communities are a mess. Pretty much anyone who lives somewhere could do, in principle, something to make a community better. They could paint a fence, or do some voluntary service, or whatever.”
Harari in turn argued that in order to “recogniz[e] activities like community building and raising families as jobs,” “we need a new economic and social model.”
When Anderson asked Harari whether he sees “any solution to that problem other than” more tax redistribution by the government, Harari replied, “That’s the traditional role of government. When the market isn’t efficient enough in redistributing the wealth, then this is the job of the government.”
Harari went so far as to suggest that wealth would need to be redistributed globally, so that the profits of tech companies in the U.S. and China could benefit people in countries less advanced in the tech domain.
“I would say that the biggest problem by far is not on the national level. It’s on the global level,” said Harari, who added that while he can envision redistribution of wealth from “tech giants in California” to “mothers in Pennsylvania,” he does not see that wealth being redistributed to “Honduras or Mexico or Brazil.”
Eventually, Anderson pointed to the irreplaceable role of human beings, asking Harari:
“Is there any scenario where we could write ourselves back into this story in quite an important way as being the only things in the universe that we know of that are actually capable of the things that matter most in the universe — i.e., love, joy, creativity, the sort of that feeling of peace you talked about.
Technology can’t advise us on what are the things deepest in our hearts. We should not let it, we should retain control, in fact make our technology in service to those things. And in a sense, the relationship between technology and us — [technology] should regard sentient things as gods, that have superpowers it knows nothing of. No? Is that ridiculous?
Harari did not directly address Anderson’s point, but honed in on “the question of sentience and consciousness” as “the most important question in this regard,” and “the greatest riddle of science.”
Harari’s evasion of the question may stem from his less transcendent view of human beings, as reflected in his claim that “Homo sapiens rule the world because it is the only animal that can believe in things that exist purely in its own imagination, such as gods, states, money, and human rights,” a backbone idea of his book “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind.”
This idea is echoed in his famous assertion that we “should get used to the idea that we are no longer mysterious souls,” but are “now hackable animals.”
As a top adviser to the WEF’s head and founder Klaus Schwab, Harari’s view that the world now holds an abundance of “useless” people, together with his open degradation of human beings as equivalent to animals, raises the question of whether the WEF’s aims are shaped by such a view, and if so, to what extent.
Indeed, the WEF arguably places the environment, and not human beings per se, at the center of its priorities. It has partnered with the heavily pro-abortion and pro-contraception United Nations (U.N.), and the WEF’s Great Reset agenda has raised concerns of collateral damage to the livelihoods and well-being of people around the world.
For instance, some argue that the WEF seeks the premature relinquishing of fossil fuel sources in favor of “green” but expensive and unreliable energy sources in such a manner as to curb overall energy usage and hurt entire economies via a ripple effect.
More evidence of such a worldview is the WEF’s endorsement of COVID lockdowns, which resulted in waves of lost jobs, massive spikes in depression, upticks in domestic abuse, and other harmful effects. In fact, the WEF called for “more stringent” lockdowns, despite such worldwide misery, and praised the lockdowns for their effect of reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and pollution.

Military Doctor Testifies under Oath That She Was ORDERED To ‘Cover up’ Vaccine Injuries through Biden Admin Directive

Dr. Theresa Long, medical officer with the United States military, has testified in court that she was ordered by a superior to suppress Covid-19 vaccine injuries following the Biden regime’s mandate.
Dr. Long also testified that the data is showing that deaths of military members from the vaccines exceed deaths from COVID-19 itself.
The DoD downplayed Dr. Long’s conclusions, saying the increase in vaccine injuries was caused by a “glitch in the database.”
During the all-day hearing, Liberty Counsel presented compelling testimony from the Navy Commander of a surface warship and three military flight surgeons, Lt. Col. Peter Chambers, Lt. Col. Teresa Long and Col. (Ret.) Stewart Tankersley, M.D. In contrast, the DOD declined to present witnesses.
Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel Mat Staver said in an interview with the Blaze’s Daniel Horowitz that there have been three hearings in this case, and the DoD has not yet offered a single witness. Instead of witnesses, the government “sends these declarations,” Staver explained. He said the judge has urged them to bring live witnesses to court so they can be cross examined, but they just refuse to do it. “So they send these declarations that some JAG attorney writes, and somebody in the military signs off on them.”
Staver said that the information the DoD has been presenting in court is “outdated, wrong, and would really be subject to dismantling under cross examination.” He added that cross examinations of his witnesses have only made their case stronger. “So they really don’t have anything to cross examine our witnesses with,” he said.
Staver told Horowitz that Judge Merryday has chastised the DoD lawyers during the hearings, telling them they have “a frail case,” and are “acting as though they are above the law.”
Dr. Theresa Long, a flight surgeon who holds a master’s degree in Public Health and is specially trained in the DMED, gave emotional testimony on March 10.
She and two other flight surgeons reviewed DMED last year and made some stunning discoveries about the high incidence of apparent vaccine injuries among members of the military.
According to the whistleblowers, certain disorders spiked after the vaccine mandate went into effect, including miscarriages and cancers, and neurological problems which increased by 1000 percent.
Dr. Long testified that she was contacted by high level officer the night before the hearing, and told not to discuss her findings regarding the explosive military medical data in court. The whistleblower reportedly said she felt threatened after she tried to get her superiors to address the findings, “fearing for her life and for the safety of her children.”
Politifact contacted Peter Graves, spokesperson for the Defense Health Agency’s Armed Forces Surveillance Division, who said the data for 2021 is correct, but for some reason, the data for the five years prior was inaccurate. Graves told PolitiFact by email that the division reviewed data in the DMED “and found that the data was incorrect for the years 2016-2020.”
In other words, for five straight years, the data was seriously corrupted and none of the DoD’s data analysts figured this out, and then it fixed itself on its own in 2021. The DoD has since put out new numbers showing more illnesses among the troops for the years prior to 2021.
Staver asked Long a question about the DMED data during the hearing, and she answered: “I have been ordered not to answer that question.”
Judge Merryday reportedly asked Long: “Ordered by who?,” and the doctor explained what happened the night before the hearing.
Staver then asked Long if the information the military ordered her to withhold was relevant and helpful for the court and the public to know. She said, “yes,” and Staver asked her why.
Long reportedly paused and choked back tears as she told the judge: “I have so many soldiers being destroyed by this vaccine. Not a single member of my senior command has discussed my concerns with me … I have nothing to gain and everything to lose by talking about it. I’m OK with that because I am watching people get absolutely destroyed.”
The doctor said she is constantly contacted by people who have been injured by the genetic vaccines, and that many of those injured are pilots, who are expected to meet high fitness standards. Long told Staver that in just one afternoon she heard from four pilots who had just gotten MRIs back showing that they had myocarditis.
Morale is tanking in the military, she testified, with soldiers are in despair over the pressure to get the vaccine, and some are even having suicidal thoughts.

Long said she was aware of at least two people who have committed suicide over the pressure, and the threat of punishment for refusal.
She said the current regime’s policies are undermining “good order and discipline.”
Staver finished: “I am honored to serve the brave men and women of the military. I am dismayed by the abuse and propaganda forced upon them from the White House and the Department of Defense. The truth will prevail, and freedom will win.”

Ukraine bombs nuclear waste storage site – official

The Ukrainian military has fired multiple rockets directly at coolant systems and nuclear waste storage site inside the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Energodar, local government administration member Vladimir Rogov told Russian media on Tuesday. He warned that a successful strike may result in a radiation release equivalent to a “dirty bomb.”
“One of the guided missiles hit just ten meters” from the barrels with spent nuclear fuel,” Rogov told Soloviev Live. “Others hit a bit farther away, 50 to 200 meters.”
Since the storage site is out in the open, any hit will result in the release of nuclear waste ranging from dozens to hundreds of kilograms and contamination of the area, the official explained. “In plain language, that would be like a dirty bomb,” said Rogov.
While the reactor itself can only be destroyed with a tactical nuclear weapon, the coolant systems and waste storage are far more vulnerable and damage to them could easily cause a disaster, the official said. Ukrainian troops have already fired “several dozen” heavy projectiles at the cooling systems, Rogov added. If they succeed in disabling such a system, it could produce a meltdown bigger than the 1986 catastrophe at Chernobyl.

Russian troops established control of the Zaporozhye NPP, Europe’s largest facility of the kind, early on in the course of military operations in Ukraine. Russia and Ukraine have been accusing each other of shelling the facility, warning that combat in the area could trigger a nuclear disaster. Russia accused Ukraine of launching artillery and drone strikes on the facility, denouncing the operations as “nuclear terrorism.” Ukrainian troops claimed that the Russians were shelling themselves to discredit Kiev.
Russian requests to the UN and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to inspect the site firsthand have been met with excuses that inspectors can only access the station via Kiev, and Ukraine can’t guarantee their safe passage.
On Monday, Rogov accused the UN of blocking the IAEA visit because it was covering for Kiev. If the inspectors actually showed up, he said, they would be forced to conclude that Ukraine and not Russia was shelling the power plant.
“It is obvious, it’s all been documented, and not only that, it’s also well known who is being supplied with American guided missiles. Obviously, not Russia, but the Zelensky regime,” he said.

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois on Tuesday said some Christian circles in the US have been equating former President Donald Trump with Jesus Christ, warning of "tribalistic" behavior that has led voters to "accept anything" to stay within their communities.
During an interview with MSNBC's Alex Wagner, Kinzinger said that many pastors in America have been "failing their congregation" either by preaching Trumpism "from the pulpit" or by refusing to talk about how "corrosive" the ideology is.
"And you have people today that, literally, I think in their heart — they may not say it — but they equate Donald Trump with the person of Jesus Christ," added Kinzinger, who identifies as Christian. "And to them, if you even come out against this 'amazing man Donald Trump,' which, obviously quite flawed, you are coming out against Jesus, against their Christian values."

Kinzinger, one of two Republicans on the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot, has been one of the most outspoken lawmakers against Trump and voted to impeach the former president in 2021.
The Illinois congressman has, in turn, been censured by the Republican National Committee and often draws heat from Trump's supporters in and out of Congress.
In February, Kinzinger received a letter from 11 members of his own family calling him a "disappointment" for advocating for Trump to be removed from office.
"We were once so proud of your accomplishments. Instead, you go against your Christian principles and join the Devil's army (the Democrats and the fake news media)," the letter read.
Commenting on the letter on Tuesday, Kinzinger said that Americans have become so "tribalistic" that they worry about being ostracized from their communities "more than even fearing death."
"And so you accept anything because now Republicanism or conservatism or Trumpism becomes your identity," he said.
"I've been kicked out of my tribe, and that's okay," he told Wagner.

The number of UK Prime customers fell by 590,000 in the second quarter of 2022 according to Ofcom, the industry watchdog, a drop of 5pc. Amazon announced an increase in its fee by £1 a month to £8.99 in July.
Meanwhile Netflix endured a 1pc fall in subscribers, down by 210,000 year on year to 17.1m during the second quarter, as viewers tightened their belts to counter soaring inflation.
Disney bucked the trend by adding 1.8m subscribers to 6.6m – an increase of 38pc – as the Star Wars producer became the world's biggest streaming service, although its rate of growth slowed from previous months.
Overall, Ofcom's Media Nations report found the number of households subscribing to at least one streaming service had fallen by 350,000 to 19.2m
Despite the drop, the media watchdog said that some of those subscribers may return when the economic horizons brighten.
The regulator said: "Cancellations do not necessarily represent customers that have been lost for good.
"Ofcom’s survey of subscribers who cancelled earlier this year found that almost three quarters of customers said they thought they would resubscribe – reflecting the flexibility that allows customers to pick up and drop subscriptions depending on changes in programmes, needs or circumstances."

Sky was among entertainment companies to have proven recession resistant in the past because it had few commercial competitors in the UK.
However, it is now showing signs of strain as the streaming revolution hands customers the choice to downgrade to a cheaper provider such as Netflix.
Sky reported earlier this year that customer numbers had fallen by 255,000 to 2.7m for the three months to June, as it grappled with "macro economic challenges across Europe".
Ofcom found that the number of subscribers to NOW, Sky's streaming service, had dropped by 220,000 to 2.1m for the second quarter.
Disney has been among the outliers in the global streaming slowdown, as viewers lapped up the Star Wars series Obi Wan Kenobi and the Predator reboot Prey.

In a little-known Reuters story that garnered almost no attention in the corporate media, Dutch insurer Aegon revealed its third quarter, 2021 life insurance payouts skyrocketed 258% compared to third quarter, 2020 payouts. The difference, of course, is found in covid vaccines. In 2020, vaccines weren't yet available, so payouts for Aegon only reached $31 million. But after three quarters of aggressive vaccinations throughout 2021, the death benefit payouts hit $111 million, an increase of 258%.

U.S. insurers MetLife and Prudential Financial also said life insurance claims rose. South Africa's Old Mutual used up more of its pandemic provisions to pay claims and reinsurer Munich Re raised its 2021 estimate of COVID-19 life and health claims to 600 million euros from 400 million.
Insurance companies are slowly coming to realize the truth about covid vaccines, even as the complicit, murderous mainstream tries to cover up the accelerating deaths. The death signals now emerging in the finances of insurance companies can't simply be swept under the rug, and given that a 258% increase was recorded for Q3, 2021, it begs the obvious question: How much worse will this be for Q4, 2021? Or Q1, 2022?
On any "normal" (pre-covid) day in America, about 7,700 people die. If those deaths rise by 100%, that means an extra 7,700 people are dying each day. Multiply that over one year, and it's an additional 2.8 million deaths. Note this is for merely a 100% increase in deaths.
Aegon is reporting a 258% increase in payouts on life insurance policies. Although Aegon doesn't insure the entire country, obviously, this data point should be raising alarms among those people paying attention. If we start to consistently see something like a 200% increase in all-cause mortality, that would mean an extra 15,000+ people are dying each day in America. That's a vaccine holocaust playing out in real time.
Truth be told, we're probably at that point right now. The data sets just haven't caught up yet with the reality of what's happening in February, 2022. Cancer death rates have almost certainly doubled in 2021 and are headed for even higher numbers in 2022, but the cancer industry — dominated by pharma interests — will of course bury the numbers as long as possible to avoid anyone asking questions of why so many people are dying from cancer all of a sudden.
(The answer is obvious: It's the mRNA vaccines.)
So not only do we have an actual vaccine holocaust taking place in America right now, we have a cover-up being run by all the complicit, murderous parties, including Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Media and Big Government. They're all in on it. They're all mass murderers, and they're all working to cover this up as long as possible so they can coerce even more people into committing vaccine suicide before the body count becomes undeniable.
That's the level of evil we're dealing with in society right now, and it's all being run under the banner of "science."
Under this dangerous death cult of "science," the whole world is supposed to pretend that covid vaccines are halting infectious, transmission and hospitalizations, all while looking the other way when so many vaccinated people prematurely die. Israel, at a 96.2% vaccination rate across the population, is now leading the world in covid cases per capita. This proves the vaccine has the opposite effect that we were promised in the name of "science." In fact, the more a country vaccinates its people, the higher covid cases rise.
That's because, of course, the vaccine is the pandemic. Covid would be over by now if not for the vaccines continuing to inject people with spike protein bioweapons that cause organ failure and death. It's no coincidence that vaccine injury symptoms are then categorized as "covid" by the corrupt, murderous medical establishment that receives financial kickbacks from the government for killing people with ventilators and remdesivir.

The Hershey company, meanwhile, is firing all its unvaccinated employees, confirming that it is an evil corporation that denies faith-based exemptions from deadly vaccines. As The Epoch Times reports:

"I really thought I'd be OK. I thought, you cannot question my faith. Nobody can question that."
Durham asked for a religious accommodation in August and assumed she would get it.
"I thought this was behind me until September when I met with an HR representative. It was an interrogation on your religious beliefs. They twisted your words and tried to put words in your mouth. It was terrible. I was asked such personal questions that had nothing to do with religion."

She was shocked when, in November, she received word that her request for religious accommodation had been denied.
Everyone interviewed mentioned being troubled by similar questions during the meetings, usually held with an immediate supervisor and someone from HR, such as:
Have you ever been vaccinated? Are your children vaccinated? How do you protect yourself when you leave your home? How often do you go to church? Do you take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums, or Midol?
So the Hershey company, which sells low-grade processed, sugar-filled candy bars that promote diabetes and obesity, is interrogating employees over whether they take Tums? And if they take Tums, they're not allowed to object to spike protein mRNA injections?

The transport secretary told the Daily Mail that we should not "turn a blind eye" to cyclists who break road laws, speed and "bust red lights" and "get away with it".
Cyclists could face 20mph speed limits and may need number plates, after Transport Secretary Grant Shapps flagged a shake-up in road laws.
Less than a fortnight after vowing to create a "death by dangerous cycling" law that will treat killer cyclists the same as motorists, Mr Shapps said he wanted to stop certain behaviour on the roads.
He told the Daily Mail: "Somewhere where cyclists are actually not breaking the law is when they speed, and that cannot be right, so I absolutely propose extending speed limit restrictions to cyclists.
"Particularly where you've got 20mph limits on increasing numbers of roads, cyclists can easily exceed those, so I want to make speed limits apply to cyclists.
"That obviously does then lead you into the question of: 'Well, how are you going to recognise the cyclist? Do you need registration plates and insurance? And that sort of thing," he told the paper.
Mr Shapps said he is proposing that there should be a review on how to track cyclists who break the law.
The Highway Code and Road Traffic Act speeding limits only apply to motor vehicles and their drivers. While local authorities can impose speed limits on cyclists, it has been rarely done.
The Department for Transport refused to provide comment to the PA news agency on Mr Shapps' interview.
Department officials did acknowledge to the Mail the flagged measures would require cyclists to have number plates or other identification markings for enforcement purposes.
Mr Shapps told the Mail that while he doesn't want to stop people from getting on their bike, we should not "turn a blind eye" to cyclists who break road laws, speed and "bust red lights" and "get away with it".
It comes after Mr Shapps pledged to create a "death by dangerous cycling" law to "impress on cyclists the real harm they can cause when speed is combined with lack of care".
The move will close a legal loophole which means that cyclists who kill pedestrians can only be jailed for two years.
Under Mr Shapps' proposal, the new law would be added to the Transport Bill due to be put before Parliament in the autumn.

Texas cattle ranchers David and Deborah Hajda issued a dire warning to America's middle class after Democrats' spending bill passed both houses of Congress allowing provisions for approximately $80 billion in IRS funding, a majority of which is dedicated to enforcement.
The Raising Five Cattle Company ranchers spoke with Dana Perino on "America's Newsroom" Tuesday, where they recounted the grueling tax audit they experienced 13 years ago.
"We got audited over basically a $7,800 engine rebuild on a very old tractor," Deborah said.
"They just basically said this was a red flag, and we're going to audit you, and we're coming to your house," she added.
Hajda said she asked if she could fax her bank records to the IRS, but they refused to give her the option. Instead, they came to her house and demanded all of her financial records in-person.
"I took out our box of receipts… and we handed it to him, and I said ‘Here’s your receipts'… we weren't hiding anything," she said.
Perino asked if the IRS agent sought out the ranchers simply to fill a quota.
"Probably. They said they flagged it because our expenses were high that year, and it was because of this repair," David responded.
The Hajdas said, while they could not afford to replace the tractor, they kept all records of expenses for the necessary repairs. However, the auditor would not give up so easily.
"He wasn't satisfied. He kept digging, and he ended up nailing us. Our tax person was giving us 80% on our work vehicles, and he said you can only do 50%," David said.
"I was very naive about the situation. I had no idea of the power, the scope [of the audit] going in three years of my life… and me having no control over that, no control over the information he was given," Deborah said.
"It was very invasive. You feel very attacked because that guy wanted to go back and say, ‘I got her.’"
She went on to issue a warning to other middle-class Americans who could soon endure the same process.
"They want to get you. If they're coming after you for an audit, they don't want to see your receipt… they want to nitpick your life apart, and that's not what the American dream is for self-employment, small business…"

In patients with serious and long-term COVID-19, disturbed blood coagulation has often been observed. Now, researchers at Linköping University (LiU), Sweden, have discovered that the body's immune system can affect the spike protein on the surface of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, leading to the production of a misfolded spike protein called amyloid. The discovery of a possible connection between harmful amyloid production and symptoms of COVID-19 has been published in the Journal of American Chemical Society.
In those who have serious and long-term COVID-19, organs other than the lungs can be gravely affected. Complex symptoms and damage in, for example, the heart, kidneys, eyes, nose, and brain, as well as disturbed blood coagulation, can persist. Why the illness affects the body in this way is largely a mystery. Now, researchers at LiU have found a biological mechanism which has never been described before, and which can be a part of the explanation.
The research team studies illnesses which are caused by misfolded proteins, of which Alzheimer's disease in the brain is the most well-known example. The researchers noted that there are many similarities between COVID-19-related symptoms and those which are observed in illnesses caused by misfolded proteins.
The functions of proteins are strongly affected by the fact that proteins are folded in specific ways that give rise to a specific three-dimensional structure. As well as this shape, a protein can also assume an alternative form. Over 30 different proteins are known to have this kind of alternative shape, which is associated with illness. This alternative folded protein is called amyloid. The LiU researchers wondered whether the virus which causes COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, contains a protein that can create amyloid. They were specifically interested in the spike protein on the surface of the virus, which the virus uses to interact with the body's cells and infect them.

Using computer simulation, the researchers discovered that the coronavirus' spike protein contained seven different sequences which potentially could produce amyloid. Three of the seven sequences met the researchers' criteria for being counted as amyloid-producing sequences when experimentally tested. They produced, among other things, so-called fibrils, which look like long threads when examined under an electron microscope.
But do these fibrils arise spontaneously? It is well known that many illnesses, such as Alzheimer's, are preceded by a process where the body cuts up large proteins into smaller pieces, which can in turn produce the harmful amyloid. In their study, the researchers show that an enzyme from immune system's white blood cells can cut up coronavirus' spike protein. When the spike protein is cut up, it produces the exact piece of protein which, according to the researchers' analysis, is most likely to produce amyloid. This enzyme is released in large quantities from one type of white blood cells, neutrophils, which are released early on during infections such as COVID-19. When the researchers mixed pure spike protein with this enzyme, called neutrophil elastase, unusual fibrils were produced.
"We have never seen such perfect, but scary, fibrils as these ones from the amyloid-producing SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and pieces thereof. The fibrils starting from the full-sized spike protein branched out like limbs on a body. Amyloids don't usually branch out like that. We believe that it is due to the characteristics of the spike protein," says Per Hammarström, professor at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM) at Linköping University.
Previous research, including a study by South African researchers, has indicated that the spike protein may be involved in the production of small blood clots. The blood contains the fibrin protein, which helps the blood to coagulate when a vessel is damaged, so that the hole seals again and stops bleeding. When the injury has begun to heal, the coagulate is supposed to be broken up by plasmin, which is also found in blood. The researchers at LiU mixed amyloid-producing protein pieces from the spike protein together with these bodily substances in test tubes, and saw that the fibrin coagulate which was then produced could not be broken down in the usual way by plasmin. This newly discovered mechanism may lie behind the production of similar micro blood clots that have been observed in both serious and long-term COVID-19. Disturbed blood coagulation is also seen in many amyloid-related illnesses.
"We can see that the spike protein, when affected by our own immune system, can produce amyloid structures, and that this can potentially affect our blood coagulation. We believe that this discovery is significant for many fields of research, and we hope that other researchers will examine the questions that it raises," says Sofie Nyström, who is an associate professor at IFM and the other author on the study.

Canada Announces ‘Digital Identity Program’ in Partnership with WEF
The government of Canada has announced it is working on a new federal “Digital Identity Program” after partnering with Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) to help develop a global ID system.
Canada joins the Dutch government in developing a digital ID system in partnership with the WEF.
The program seeks to create a digital proof-of-identity document for all citizens that is logged in a system used by airports, authorities, and government agencies.
Details about the development of a federal “Digital Identity Program” were revealed in the Canadian government’s “Canada’s Digital Ambition 2022” report.
“The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for government services to be accessible and flexible in the digital age,” the report published by the government reads.
“The next step in making services more convenient to access is a federal Digital Identity Program, integrated with pre-existing provincial platforms.
“Digital identity is the electronic equivalent of a recognized proof-of-identity document (for example, a driver’s license or passport) and confirms that ‘you are who you say you are’ in a digital context.”
For the digital ID program, Canada is partnering with the WEF.
The WEF’s program is called “Known Traveler Digital Identity,” which the organization boasts is “the first global collaboration of its kind.”
“The Known Traveller Digital Identity, or KTDI, is a World Economic Forum initiative that brings together a global consortium of individuals, governments, authorities, and the travel industry to enhance security in world travel,” the WEF’s “Known Traveler Digital Identity” website says.
“The pilot group, convened by the World Economic Forum, consists of the Government of Canada and the Netherlands, Air Canada, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol,” the website notes.
Canada’s Digital Identity Program further cements the country’s commitment to the WEF’s digital ID project.
The Canadian government has previously tried rolling out digital ID schemes, like the unsuccessful federal contact tracing app and the controversial ArriveCAN, which is required to enter the country.
Despite the failures and privacy concerns, the Liberal Canadian government is not giving up on digital ID schemes.
