BC forcing unvaccinated mothers to pay back up to $50K in maternity leave

The BC government wants to leave unvaccinated mothers who are public servants on the hook for any maternity leave they benefited from.

Mothers who are denied an exemption to the Covid-19 shot could be terminated from their jobs and pay back up to $50,000 in maternity benefits.

“The vaccination policy stipulates that BC Public Service employees who do not receive two doses of vaccination against COVID-19, or refuse to disclose their vaccination status, and do not have an approved exemption request, are to be placed on a leave without pay for a period of at least three months, after which they may be terminated,” the BC government writes on their website.

Mothers speaking to the outlet My Prince George Now say that they are being treated unfairly by the government.

“At this point, it would just be punitive if I lose my job,” one woman who wished to remain anonymous said.

“It’s like they want to make examples out of people… It is absolutely cruel in a country like Canada.”

Another mother said that she’s facing up to $50,000 in maternity leave repayment and is not eligible for EI for simply deciding not to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

“I believed I was providing security for my family, I had a permanent position to return to,” she said.

“I can’t do it. We have a newborn and are trying to pay our mortgage and other bills.”

“We have a mortgage and two children. With the crazy economy and inflation, to have the little savings you have ripped out of your hand just seems crazy,” she continued.

The federal government has also said that they are refusing to compensate any unvaccinated workers negatively impacted by vaccine mandates.

Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc said that Ottawa would “absolutely not” be offering any compensation packages to the thousands of unvaccinated workers it has terminated.

5th, and then 6th, and after that 7th…, just as I predicted.

When they impose vaccine mandates and passports again, two shots won’t be enough, you will need to be “up to date.”

Another disturbing article from Metro celebrating parents who transitioned their child at 4. They say child had tantrums as a toddler due to gender dysphoria. Mad as a box of frogs.

I’d love to know if Mermaids & The Metro have a financial arrangement.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/02/25/pfizer-funds-facebook-fact-checking-partner-combatting-covid-19-misinformation/

Pfizer is Funding Facebook’s Fact-Checking Partner.

Another conflict of interest emerges, as Big Tech takes Big Pharma cash to censor critics.

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. is sponsoring journalism training programs utilized by Facebook to train its “fact-checking” partners and censor stories and posts critical of COVID-19 vaccines.

The International Center For Journalists (ICFJ) – itself funded by the Open Society Foundations amongst others – is partnered with Meta, Facebook’s parent company, on its “Journalism Project” initiative. In turn, Facebook relies on the journalists funded and trained by ICFJ to “combat misinformation” on its platform through its controversial fact-checking operation.

Together, Facebook and the ICFJ have funded news outlets based in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East with a focus on COVID-19 reporting.

Facebook’s fact-checking partner ICFJ, however, also receives financial backing from Pfizer, with its recently announced 2022 Arthur F. Burns Fellowship – named after a former Federal Reserve chairman – lists the pharmaceutical giant as one of the program’s sponsors.

“ICFJ’s longest-running program, the Arthur F. Burns Fellowship provides talented young U.S., German and Canadian journalists the opportunity to live and work in each other’s country,” explains a program summary. The program has produced dozens of alumni who “now work as foreign correspondents in 20 countries for well-known news outlets, such as The Washington Post, Reuters, CNN, ARD, Deutsche Welle and the Süddeutsche Zeitung,” according to the ICFJ.

The financial relationship with Pfizer dates back to at least 2008, as the center partnered with the pharmaceutical firm on a “training workshop on journalistic coverage of health issues” across Latin America.

“The objective of the workshop is to generate greater awareness about the importance of coverage of health issues in the region and to remember how the media can become leading actors when it comes to informing and educating the public about health issues. that directly affect your health and quality of life,” explains a summary.

The sole sponsor of the workshop, which also addressed reporting on “cardiovascular diseases,” was Pfizer.

The unearthed financial ties between Pfizer and Facebook’s fact-checking operation follow the pharmaceutical giant having additional conflicts of interest with news outlets including Reuters.

DHS Whistleblower Leaks New Joint Intelligence Bulletin on ‘Domestic Violent Extremists’ Sent in Wake of Mar-A-Lago Raid

Document lists perceptions of “government overreach” and “election fraud” as red flags.

“The threats we have observed, to date, underscore that DVEs [Domestic Violent Extremists] may view the 2022 midterm election as an additional flashpoint around which to escalate threats against perceived ideological opponents, including federal law enforcement personnel.”

“Information contained in this intelligence bulletin is for official use only. No portion of this bulletin should be released to the media, the general public, or over nonsecure Internet servers. Release of this material could adversely affect or jeopardize investigative activities.”

[WASHINGTON, D.C. – Aug. 16, 2022] Project Veritas released a leaked document today from within the Department of Homeland Security which shows how federal agencies are reacting to the recent raid of President Trump’s Florida home.

In the document, the DHS warns of a heightened security risk for federal agents, specifically FBI agents, because of the Mar-a-Lago raid.

In addition to listing potential warning signs for Domestic Violent Extremists [DVEs], the DHS predicts that violent threats may continue to escalate this year.

“The threats we have observed, to date, underscore that DVEs [Domestic Violent Extremists] may view the 2022 midterm election as an additional flashpoint around which to escalate threats against perceived ideological opponents, including federal law enforcement personnel,” the document reads.

The document also appears to state that DVE ideology tends to be aligned with the ideas that “government overreach” and “election fraud” are a threat to the country.

“In recent years, DVEs adhering to different violent extremist ideologies have coalesced around perceptions of government overreach and election fraud to threaten and conduct violence. As a result of recent activities, we assess that potential targets of DVE violence moving forward could include law enforcement, judicial officials, individuals implicated in conspiracy theories, and perceived ideological opponents who challenge their worldview.”

The leaked material concludes with a warning to agents that the public should not know this information.

“Information contained in this intelligence bulletin is for official use only. No portion of this bulletin should be released to the media, the general public, or over nonsecure Internet servers. Release of this material could adversely affect or jeopardize investigative activities.”

WATER WARS are about to erupt in America as dwindling supplies lead to legal clashes among western states

(Natural News) WATER WARS are about to erupt in America, as dwindling supplies in Lake Mead and Lake Powell lead to federal intervention and legal clashes among the western states. Lake Mead and Lake Powell are drying up fast, falling to record-low levels. Their water levels now stand at approximately 25%. These lakes are fed by the Colorado River, and they are the primary source of water for seven Western states.

The federal government is in control of the Colorado River. Federal officials with the Department of Interior and the Bureau of Reclamation are pressuring the seven western states to preserve the remaining water level and prevent the lakes from becoming dead pools. The seven states have yet to reach a deal and have failed to make the necessary cuts, leading to upcoming legal showdowns and possibly a new compact.

Western states cannot agree on massive water cuts, leading to historic juncture

The seven affected states must submit a plan to conserve billions of gallons of water by 2023. So far, the negotiations are not looking good. The states in the Lower Basin of the Colorado River – California, Arizona and Nevada, are struggling to come up with a fair plan for all. The states in the Upper Basin – Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah, are also clashing over resource allocation, and are blaming the Lower Basin states for not doing their part.

The leaders over urban and agricultural water districts are having difficult discussions about water cuts that would impact millions of people in different living environments. Which districts take precedence? Whose tap water will be restricted first? Who will pay the higher prices? Will the agricultural districts have enough water to keep crops alive? Will people living in the city be able to bathe?

Brighteon.TV

“There are a lot of different interests at loggerheads. And there’s a lot to overcome, and there’s a lot of animosity,” said Kyle Roerink, executive director of the Great Basin Water Network. “It’s going to be a mess,” he continued. “I don’t see how we ever get over some of what I believe are irreconcilable differences among the states.”

Federal government calls for 30% cuts to current water usage to prevent national emergency

In a congressional hearing on June 14, 2022, the federal government called for urgent action to cut current water usage by 15 to 30 percent. The Commissioner at the Bureau of Reclamation, Calimlim Touton, announced an additional 2 to 4 million acre per feet reduction in water use by 2023. She warned the states that the federal government will “act unilaterally to protect the system” if an agreement is not made over the next sixty-day period. This will likely lead to federal intervention, lawsuits and court battles. If the states do not come up with a plan to cut water usage, and legal proceedings are not enforced, the federal government will literally have to move in with the military to defend the precious Lake Mead and Lake Powell, shutting off supplies to millions. Sixty days have passed since the congressional hearing, and the states have still failed to finalize their cuts.

States in the Upper Basin have pointed the finger at the states in the Lower Basin, because they traditionally use more of the water. The Imperial Irrigation District, which supplies water to farms in California’s Imperial Valley, controls the largest share of the water from the Colorado River.

The states in the Upper Basin believe the next cuts should come from the Lower Basin states, especially in California. Charles Cullom, executive director of the Upper Colorado River Commission, said that the four states in the Upper Basin have “limited” options available and cannot cut back any more, without compromising agriculture and livelihoods. He reports that the upper states “already suffer chronic shortages under current conditions.”
