Anybody check the equipment United uses for that Rome/Chicago route? Is there a match?

Also am curious about the positioning in that photo. Can assume there are 3 persons in the car: driver, front seat passenger (this could be any female agent), and the backseat passenger taking the photo.

The latter is taking the photo from roughly the center of the back seat, so I'm guessing he/she is the only backseat passenger.

Also interesting to know would be exactly what kind of "security concern" would cause a diversion to Shannon, with a complete security recheck of passengers and baggage. Pilot/airport anons, want to toss out some potential reasons?

If we're correct that this photo was taken at the diverted stopover at Shannon, the aircraft might have been parked well away from terminal per procedure if some kind of threat was involved. I think this would be reasonable measure, especially since the article noted all baggage/passengers were being removed & rechecked.
