From the Springfield grant which was let on Jul 01, 2022: Promote the value of apprenticeships: Conduct outreach videos on Facebook, TikTok and other social media platforms…

From the Alameda Grant:Proposed elements include: developing new strategies for “virtual promotores”; training online influencers on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube; expanding sms/text capabilities to push messages to mam- and spanish-speaking communities; expanding communications campaigns, including targeted media buys and high-quality video content to reach populations with low literacy/low health literacy

The first two grants should scare everyone - they are using under-served disadvantaged populations. (Alameda, CA and Springfield, MO)

The US Navy bans TikTok over security threats, then the Dept. of Labor hands out grants for appreticeships using TikTok? Phew lads, can't make this up.

(Note: Not all of the $8.1 Million is the social media TikTok)
