After spending much of his summer vacation on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, President Biden is heading back to his multimillion-dollar beach house in his home state of Delaware, where he’s building a taxpayer-funded security fence at a cost that’s ballooned to nearly $500,000.
Biden is expected to arrive at his $2.7 million summer house in the North Shores community of Rehoboth Beach on Saturday after spending the last couple nights in Wilmington, Delaware, according to data released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). On Wednesday, Biden was briefly at the White House signing of the $739 billion Inflation Reduction Act into law.

John Kerry's secretive climate office discussed keeping plans off 'paper,' emails show
Senior officials in Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC) John Kerry's office discussed holding a meeting to ensure budget discussions were kept off "paper," according to internal emails obtained in a records request and shared with Fox News Digital.
The SPEC office's senior director for climate finance — whose name was redacted under the "personal privacy information" exemption — suggested to other officials in a March 9 email that a key briefing with Kerry should be held over the phone or in-person, according to documents that watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) shared with Fox News Digital. The briefing appeared to center around the office's budget for fiscal year 2022 and 2023.
"I would also suggest a call or meeting soon with jk to update him on FY22 and 23, focusing on all the elements we can’t put on paper," the unnamed official told other staffers in the March 9 email.

Jared Kushner says former President Trump instructed his daughter, Ivanka Trump, to set up a meeting with Hillary Clinton following his political foe’s 2016 election loss in an attempt to develop a “cordial relationship.”
His father-in-law, Kushner writes in his memoir, “Breaking History,” obtained by ITK and poised to be released on Tuesday, “genuinely wanted to help the country unite” in the days before he entered the White House.
“He even told Ivanka to invite Hillary and Bill for dinner in the coming weeks,” Kushner wrote of Donald Trump, who said in 2020 that he “100 percent” agreed with his supporters who would chant “lock her up” about the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.
But, Kushner says, Donald Trump quickly changed his tune.
“Ivanka did call Chelsea,” Kushner says in his book, “but days later Hillary backed [Green Party presidential nominee] Jill Stein’s challenge to the election, and Trump ended his outreach.”
A spokesman for Hillary Clinton didn’t return ITK’s request for comment.
