SubFag,

Which sub do you think could have launched this?

I've seen people say it could have been the TR-1700 lost by the Argentine Navy, but that boat doesn't have VLS tubes.

Sorry if I have missed it here, I've spent the past couple hours trying to research submarines. This is just really puzzling me.

What ballistic missile would be used to target aircraft, too?

love your work.

Could be. The nuclear blast would destroy all electronics, resulting in AF1 going down anyway, right?

Or is the EMP effect only from much further out in space?

Still doesn't answer the question of was it the missing sub that could have launched it, or something else?

According to what I read from SubFag, it's actually genius. There's sonar listening posts all throughout open waters, if they used the noise from passing traffic above, they could slip in and out without detection

"Only usable once"

There are conventionally tipped Tridents IIRC, with tungsten rods relying on reentry velocity to deliver obliteration in 280sqm. Indistinguishable from nuclear-tipped
