The thing about adults having sex with teens, is that a teen can be coerced by an adult, and tricked and manipulated. And often has no recourse because they are not of legal age yet. They have to rely on reporting the abuse to an adult who may or may not do anything about it, because they may or may not be in on the abuse or might not even believe the minor.
I wonder sometime if pedophiles are not necessarily attracted sexually to minors, but minors are easy prey who often have no avenues or recourse. They are easy to manipulate and threaten and control.
