I recall when I was in school, that kids had nick names and the teacher would ask kids at the beginning of the school year what they preferred to be called. But on all school records and standardized tests they had to use their given name.

ie Margaret might want to be called Margie or Peggy

William might want to be called Will or Bill or Billy.

Nicknames are fine. Who cares. But they can't change their gender just by wearing clothes of the opposite sex or using a name of the opposite sex, or using a pronoun of the opposite sex. That's just ridiculous.

And the puberty blockers should just be illegal. They don't change a person's gender.

When they are an adult, then they can decide if they want to butcher their body and get all of the tattoos that they want.

A person can't change their chromosomes from XX to XY or from XY to XX.
