How are anons doing while waiting for “my fellow Americans, the storm is upon us…” tweet?

For a few years I’d forgone things like vacation, getting new lawn furniture, etc.

Oddly enough, I’ve been doing a little of those kinds of purchases recently even though it feels like we’re close (but let’s be honest, we are inevitably closer with every passing day).

Just curious how frugal others are during this time and how much of their regular activities have been out on hold for the storm.

Anon’s theory re: the plan. Almost everything that is choreographed and publicly scheduled aren’t ground shaking and soon dissipate from the public’s consciousness like a fart in the wind.
