the sphinx was originally ALL lion, and it is tens of thousands of yrs older than the accepted age. the body was buried in sand and only the head was sticking out and abraded by wind and sandstorms until it was unrecognizable as a lion's head. thousands of yrs after it was first carved, a pharoah excavated the body and had HIS head carved on the eroded head of the lion. the carving of the head is OBVIOUSLY far newer that that of the body, and also the head is WAY out of proportion to the body (too small). a fucking 2-yr old should be able to see this and figure it out. so it kinda makes cooper's quote pretty fucking stupid. doesn't say a lot for him, either.
PS – ALL animals have brains, and MOST species are far more intelligent than humans. if you don't think so, you need to spend more time in nature.
