Posted this at end of last bred. Sign tacked to a tree? Seems very impromptu. Def not a longterm directional or parking sign. A good suspect for 1st Aid sign?
Found an excellent vid showing that sign on the tree is NOT a First Aid sign. BUT the vid does show that there were sign(s) attached to the landward trees on VICTORIA with letters of the alphabet tacked to them. I presume this was done for security and emergency personnel to respond to specific locations along VICTORIA if an emergency arose. Thankfully, the camera operator was bemused by falling particulates from the fireworks and panned the camera behind their position to show two trees marked with a T and a U. In another vid (sorry can’t remember which) I saw another tree marked with an X. I had thought, Okay someone advertising a rave party maybe, the ‘X’ always code for the drug Ecstacy, but it turns out it was just another of these designated trees. Must go back and look for these. And got excellent views of the banner’s other side. It has the same First Aid and restrooms symbols, and says, Exit All Directions (with an arrow pointing up RICHMOND) and below that it says, Westminster Station Closed.
Very interesting find. Oh, and the banner is attached to that landward tree after all.

An afterthought. Observing that they had already exhausted the first 21 letters of the alphabet just beyond RICHMOND Terrace, they would probly have expended all 26 letters upon reaching the RAF Air Memorial, leaving substantial portion of the Embankment North of the RAF Memorial needing to be designated with something else. Numbers perhaps? Will keep a look out in vids/open sauces near our restaurant ships.
