I chose not to go to college. I have made a fine living for my family and I know the proper use of an apostrophe! Now if student loan forgiveness is enacted, my tax dollars will be used to pay for the college education of others. This makes sense how?

So true. I know people who put off buying a home for over a decade while they paid off their student loans little by little.

I didn't think of this on my own, heard someone being interviewed about this, a large majority of the debt is for people who went on to get advanced degrees. This pisses me off even more. I found ways to live sensibly and get along without a college degree, and looks like I might have to help pay back some loans for doctors and psychologists and such. Only lackluster ones, though, the ones who couldn't manage to make bank even with their advanced degrees.
