Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz scrawled ‘666’ on prison cell wall in his own blood
Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz scrawled “666” with his own blood on a prison cell wall ahead of his ongoing sentencing trial, according to a newly released image.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office made public a trove of the killer’s maniacal prison drawings and writings this week — including the Satanic cellblock graffiti he scribbled in May.
“I do not want life please help me go to death row!!!” he wrote on one of 33 pages of deranged writings and childlike doodles, some of which depict people being gunned down behind desks.
Several pages feature declarations of love for Satan and pictures of various types of guns and ammunition.
Another entry calls for more mass shootings.
Cruz wrote asking for “my brothers and sisters of blood and death to kill your children.”
“I ask for mass murders and terrorists to destroy this f—– country and spread evil and destruction,” he added.
He ends the page with “Hail Lucifer,” along with a pentagram and a monstrous picture of a head resembling a jack-o-lantern.
Cruz lays his murderous nihilism bare in another writing, and wishes for his own end.
“I hate everyone, everything, and anyone,” he wrote. “I never wanted to be alive. I hope I die and never wake up.”
The sketches and other material were released to local media outlets Monday and obtained by The Post via a public records request.
Their release comes as a Florida jury is hearing evidence to decide if Cruz, 23, is sentenced to death or a life term for massacring 14 students and three staffers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in Feb. 2018.
Describing his brain as “broken,” Cruz’s defense attorneys have argued that the school shooter suffers from severe mental illness — and that his jailhouse content serves as proof.
They say his traumatic upbringing and longstanding mental illness should mitigate his sentence.
Prosecutors argue that Cruz’s rampage — one of the worst mass shootings in the nation’s history — warrants his execution.
Jurors have been shown graphic footage of his assault on terrified students and staffers — along with autopsy pictures of those he killed.
Shattered relatives and survivors of the attack recounted the horror on the stand for weeks, immersing the panel in Cruz’s bloodbath.
