At most I'm a deist. I don't believe the Creator of the Universe gets involved in the daily affairs of mankind. Thanks, anon. I agree with yout semtiment. I cannot worship stories from milennia ago as "God" as they bear little resemblence to daily life. I think of the Creator as the force that set everything into motion and is simply watching the swirls of fractals as they play out over and over. All the religious stories keep people locked into a paradigm, looking for pattern matching between the book and reality…as TPTB are working to match their reality to the book for profit. The Jews might have needed a Jesus character to convince them to support their new Roman rulers, but Christianity is an, umm, acquired taste.
