Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had two dog walkers/carers die
What are the odds?
OLI JUSTE

“In a message posted on the website for Mayhew, an animal welfare charity that Meghan selected as one of the four organizations she would support as a royal patron back in 2019, Meghan said that she was introduced to the charity by animal behavioralist Oli Juste, who "tragically and very suddenly passed away" in January.
"In fact, it was Oli and his fiancé Rob who helped care for my rescue dog, Guy, when I had just moved to the UK and he was recovering from a debilitating accident," Meghan recalled. "They loved him as though he was their own."

MARGERY MAGILL

“Intern, 27, is knifed to death by man who 'targeted her at random' while she was walking a dog in Washington, DC
A 27-year-old woman was fatally stabbed while walking a dog in Washington, DC, in what police say was a random attack.
Margery Magill, a California native who was interning the capital for the summer, suffered multiple stab wounds and bled out on the sidewalk just before 9pm on Tuesday”
>she also worked for Harry and Meghan as a dog walker

>emphasis on random attack
I had to DIG to find mention of her being a dog walker for Prince Harry (thanks, Bing) - GOOG has buried or removed references. I lived in NorCal at the time and remembered all the mentions of her having been a royal dog walker…I thought it was so weird that someone so close to any Royals was stabbed in a “random attack” so I saved the local paper articles (probably in some box, can’t find now).

And just a weird story about the “unknown causes” of how Meghan’s beagle Guy ended up with two broken legs in 2017: https://people.com/royals/meghan-markle-dog-breaks-two-legs.

This weird little snippet might explain things: “When it comes to her own pets, Meghan thanks a surprising source: Ellen DeGeneres. While announcing the royal engagement on her talk show, DeGeneres revealed that she’s crossed paths with the newest addition to the royal family before — when she was debating whether to adopt her first pup, Bogart.”
How did Lupo, Meghan’s dog die in Nov 2020?
