why isn't anyone with a significant platform telling people to prep, stock up food, supplies, etc for utility/power shortages or shutoffs, collapse, supply chain halting, etc?

shortages now are real, you don't eat, fix things, replace, add to or refresh supplies and stock? If you do, you have experienced it too.
"wolf preppers" will get treated like all pirates if the time continues to come (as it is plainly appearing to be doing).
