It's #InternationalDogDay! Victory, a Hawaiian Poi Dog, was a plank-owner on USS Iowa (BB-61). "Vicky" earned 7 battle stars on his Asiatic-Pacific ribbon and 2 stars on his Philippine Liberation ribbon. He was the first American dog on Japanese soil after the surrender in 1945.
