A just God must punish sin. Here's the good news though, you can be saved and have eternal life if you just believe that Jesus Christ died, was buried and resurrected on the 3rd day according to the Scripture. All have fallen short of the glory of God, including me. I pray that you can come to God one day and be saved.

Also, Israel doesn't get off scot free, the Bible describes a time of Jacob's distress. Jacob being Israel. They will worship the Anti-Christ and will be near destruction when at the last moment Jesus will come and save them.
