He says based on two cases ruled on by the Supreme Court that the siege of Mar-a-Lago by gun-toting FBI agents was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful.

So when the FBI commits a crime to cover up its own bad deeds, what do the corrupt Democrats do? Do they stand up for law and order? Do they demand the FBI agents, leadership, and the White House be brought to justice?

Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines has told Congress the U.S. intelligence community will undertake a damage assessment of the trove of classified material held at former President Trump’s Florida golf club for more than a year.

The assurance, contained in a letter to House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. Carolyn Maloney and House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff, is the first indication that the Biden administration will evaluate the potential national security risks.

It comes after a heavily redacted document released Friday revealed 15 boxes of documents returned from Mar-a-Lago contained 184 classified documents, 67 confidential documents and 25 top secret documents.

Mossad Chief Vows Continued Ops Against Iran If Nuclear Deal Finalized

While the world still awaits Tehran and Washington's final verdicts on the finalized text of a restored JCPOA (so far all signs point to it unraveling as things once again appear to stall), Israel has said that its military and intelligence is prepared to act against Iran even if a deal is signed.

While this isn't the first time Israeli officials have issued such a threat, it is a rare moment that the head of the Mossad intelligence agency publicly spoke out this bluntly and revealingly:

Criticizing the United States for rushing into a terrible deal, Mossad Director David Barnea said on Thursday that a new nuclear pact with Iran would not block his agency from acting against the Islamic Republic to protect Israel’s security interests.

The remarks came in a top level government meeting with Prime Minister Yair Lapid and other officials amid fears in Israel that a final restored nuclear deal is imminent.

Barnea, who has been the country's spy chief for a little over a year, stressed that given "Israel has not signed on to the deal" it remains that "Israel is permitted to defend itself in any way possible – and will act this way."

"We cannot sit quietly and just watch as the danger grows closer," Barnea said further. His stark assessment and preparatory warnings that Israel is prepared for the 'day after' a deal strongly suggests that it's Mossad's assessment that a final agreement is just around the corner.

Further emphasizing Israel's freedom to act, he said:

"We deal with Hezbollah, not the US. We deal with Islamic Jihad, not the US; and with militias and the IRGC in Syria. We need to deal with this. Clearly, the US can get up and leave [the region] one day; we cannot leave. We are here. There are also conceptual differences and in our worldviews."

The top spy continued: "The strategic leaning by both the US and Iran to sign on to a new JCPOA [nuclear deal] does not change Iran’s long-term desire to obtain a nuclear weapon."

As for his mention of Syria, it remains the place where Israeli airstrikes have picked up in frequency and intensity of late, earning condemnation from Russia. Israel has said it is a security "red line" for Iranians to be operating in Syria, or also Iran-backed Hezbollah.

Pfizer Vaccine Whistleblower Responds To Motion To Dismiss False Claims Suit

Pfizer cannot use the government as a shield from liability for making false claims about its COVID-19 vaccine, lawyers for a whistleblower argued in response to Pfizer’s motion to dismiss a False Claims Act lawsuit.

“Respondents claim fraudulent certifications, false statements, doctored data, contaminated clinical trials, and firing of whistleblowers can be ignored based on the theory that they contracted their way around the fraud,” lawyers for Brook Jackson, who worked as regional director at one of the clinical trials used to develop the Pfizer vaccine, wrote in their Aug. 22 response.

“A drug company cannot induce the taxpayers to pay billions of dollars for a product,” they countered, “that honest data would show poses more risks than benefits, and that ignores the actual contract and the law itself.”

World's Most Popular Password Manager, With More Than 33 Million Users, Discloses "Security Incident"

LastPass, one of the world's most popular password managers, has confirmed it has been hacked…err, has had a "security incident".

Last week the company started notifying its users of a “recent security incident” where an “unauthorized party” gained access to a developer account and accessed parts of its password manager’s source code and “some proprietary LastPass technical information,” according to The Verge.

The company said that some source code was stolen, but that no passwords were taken.

It wrote a letter to its users on Wednesday which stated: "Two weeks ago, we detected some unusual activity within portions of the LastPass development environment. After initiating an immediate investigation, we have seen no evidence that this incident involved any access to customer data or encrypted password vaults."

It continued: "We have determined that an unauthorized party gained access to portions of the LastPass development environment through a single compromised developer account and took portions of source code and some proprietary LastPass technical information. Our products and services are operating normally."

"In response to the incident, we have deployed containment and mitigation measures, and engaged a leading cybersecurity and forensics firm. While our investigation is ongoing, we have achieved a state of containment, implemented additional enhanced security measures, and see no further evidence of unauthorized activity," the letter concluded.

In a FAQ attached to the bottom of the letter, the company says that users Master passwords had not been compromised: "This incident did not compromise your Master Password. We never store or have knowledge of your Master Password. We utilize an industry standard Zero Knowledge architecture that ensures LastPass can never know or gain access to our customers’ Master Password."

The company also said that no data from clients vaults had been taken because the hack happened in the developer environment. The letter wrote: "This incident occurred in our development environment. Our investigation has shown no evidence of any unauthorized access to encrypted vault data. Our zero knowledge model ensures that only the customer has access to decrypt vault data."

LastPass is used by more than 33 million clients worldwide.

According to the Verge report, the company has explained to its users that they don't have to do anything specific to respond to the hack. And, as long as this week's disclosure covered the extent of it, and there's no additional details about the breach that come out over the next few days, maybe LastPass (and its users) can move forward from the incident…

My Son Hunter director Robert Davi recounted hearing about yet another potentially misplaced Hunter Biden laptop left at a house Hunter was reportedly renting.

The License to Kill actor explained that he learned of this other potential Hunter laptop from an actress he was working with when he was casting the part of Grace Anderson in My Son Hunter (played by Emma Gojkovic).

“During research for the film, I had one time that I was working with an actress, when I was looking for the character of Grace Anderson. It happened that her friend rented one of the houses to Hunter Biden, and they found a backpack with drugs and another laptop in there,” Davi said.

His remarks came during a My Son Hunter panel discussion on Truth Social hosted by former California congressman and current Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes that also included Donald Trump Jr.; Government Accountability Institute President, Breitbart Senior Contributor, and bestselling author of Red Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win Peter Schweizer; and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow.

My Son Hunter, which marks Breitbart’s expansion into film distribution, was a crowdfunded project inspired by the investigative reporting of Peter Schweizer and Breitbart News about the Biden family’s corruption and, of course, the infamous “laptop from hell”—reporting which the media and Big Tech sought to censor during the 2020 election.

“No one was talking about the Bidens—until recently now the New York Times says it’s okay,” Davi said. “This [film] is I think the first peek that lifts the skirts, so to speak from the Bidens to show people in a humorous way. It’s like the laptop exploded onto film for me.”

In one scene in My Son Hunter, the Hunter Biden character (played by Laurence Fox) ruefully tells his father (played by John James) that he’s lost not one, but two laptops.

During the Truth Social panel discussion, Donald Trump Jr. mentioned the real-life video that surfaced last year of Hunter Biden telling a prostitute in 2019 that he feared that Russian drug dealers had stolen one of his laptops while he was partying in Las Vegas.

“The guy is actually on film with crack pipes and prostitutes talking about how the Russian mob has his laptop—because at this point, which one of our enemies doesn’t have a Hunter Biden laptop?” Trump quipped.

Intelligence Officials to Assess Potential Risk to National Security From Trump-Held Documents

Saul Loeb/pooU.S. intelligence officials are preparing to assess the potential risk to national security from documents seized from former President Donald Trump’s home.

“The Department of Justice and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence are working together to facilitate a classification review of relevant materials, including those recovered during the search. ODNI will also lead an Intelligence Community (IC) assessment of the potential risk to national security that would result from the disclosure of the relevant documents,” a spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email on Aug. 27.

The ODNI oversees 17 intelligence entities, including the CIA and the FBI. The current director of national intelligence is Avril Haines, a Biden appointee.

FBI agents seized classified materials from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Aug. 8, according to an inventory list agents gave to Trump lawyers. Agents also found classified materials in boxes of documents that were transferred from Mar-a-Lago to the U.S. government in January, according to an affidavit authored by an FBI agent that was made public on Friday.

Trump has said he declassified the materials.

U.S. authorities are investigating Trump for possible violation of federal law, including a law governing the transmittal of national defense information.

Close Coordination

The ODNI will “closely coordinate” with the Department of Justice (DOJ), which includes the FBI, to make sure the intelligence community assessment “is conducted in a manner that does not unduly interfere with DOJ’s ongoing criminal investigation,” the ODNI spokesperson said.

The DOJ did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A number of lawmakers had requested a damage assessment, including Senate Intelligence Chairman Mark Warner (D-Va.) and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

An ODNI policy says a damage assessment “shall be conducted when there is an actual or suspected unauthorized disclosure or compromise of classified national intelligence that may cause damage to U.S. national security.”

An assessment “may also be conducted when there is an actual or suspected loss, misuse, or unauthorized access to or modification of classified national intelligence that could adversely affect national security,” the policy also says.

Haines informed Schiff and House Oversight Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) in a letter Friday about the damage assessment, the ODNI spokesperson confirmed.

Maloney and Schiff did not respond to requests for comment.

Washington, DC Delays COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Students After Ruling

Officials in Washington, D.C., are delaying enforcement of the school COVID-19 vaccine mandate after a federal judge struck down vaccination requirements for city workers.

Students aged 12 and older who do not receive a COVID-19 vaccine will not be barred from school until Jan. 3, 2023, the D.C. Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) said on Aug. 27.

Before the change, students who did not provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination were going to be prohibited from attending classes just 20 days after the school year started.

The office’s immunization attendance policy, for instance, states, “Schools are not permitted to allow a student to attend more than 20 school days while the school does not have certification of immunization.”

It outlines a process that kicks off when students don’t provide proof of vaccination. Their families are told initially about the impending prohibition, and given another warning when the 20-day deadline gets closer.

“On the 20th school day of the 20-school day period, the School Health Team should: a. Send a final determination written notice to the parent, guardian, or adult student stating that the student is prohibited from attending school beginning the next school day,” the policy states.

The OSSE said that many “leaders” have been in touch about “the challenges of tracking enforcement for COVID-19 vaccinations.” The delayed enforcement date is expected to give schools and school officials “additional time to prepare and for students to get their COVID-19 vaccinations,” it added.

The policy is different for other required immunizations. Students who don’t get one or more of them will be barred from school on Oct. 11 if they’re in fifth grade or below, or on Nov. 4 if they’re in higher grades.

Mandate Struck Down

The change came a day after a judge in Washington struck down Mayor Muriel Bowser’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for city workers, ruling that Bowser “lacks legal authority to impose a vaccine mandate on Plaintiffs.”

No lawsuits have yet been filed against the student mandate.

Even if one is, D.C. Superior Court Judge Maurice Ross’s ruling may not affect the school mandate. That is based on D.C. Act 24-280, an amendment to the Immunization of School Students Act of 1979 passed by the district’s City Council in 2021.

The amended law requires all public schools, including public charter schools, to require students present proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The requirement is for age groups for whom U.S. drug regulators have approved a COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, no COVID-19 vaccines are approved for children younger than 12.

Bowser, a Democrat who backs the law, said this week that students who do not meet the requirements will not have an option to learn remotely, or virtually.

“We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school,” she said.

'Peacemaker' of death: This Ukrainian website threatens hundreds of thousands with extrajudicial killings — some are Americans

Mirotvorets, which compiles lists of ‘enemies of Ukraine’, has been operating with impunity for eight years

For the last eight years, a group of publicly unknown activists in Ukraine have been compiling lists of ‘enemies of the people’ with impunity. Hundreds of thousands have been declared criminals without trial.

Among them are not only Russian citizens, but also Ukrainian opposition figures and bloggers, European politicians, and US citizens. At the very least, being added to this list is a stigma that makes life difficult in Ukraine, but it can also serve as justification for imprisonment or, in some cases, even being killed. This is exactly what happened last weekend to Daria Dugina, daughter of world-famous Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, who’s name also can be found on that list.

RT explains what is behind the Mirotvorets, or ‘Peacemaker’, website, whose creators seek to bring ‘peace’ to their country with the help of extrajudicial killings, and why the Ukrainian authorities have done nothing about this despite condemnation from the international community.

What is Mirotvorets?

The main page of the Ukrainian Mirotvorets website proclaims that the outlet represents a ‘Center for Research of Signs of Crimes against the National Security of Ukraine, Peace, Humanity, and the International Law’. It claims to have been created by a group of academics, journalists, and other specialists. However, their names are known to no one, and the outfit itself has never even been officially registered in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, this organization has been in operation for nine years, since August 2014. And although it positions itself as “independent, non-state media,” government officials still had a hand in its creation. In fact, the website emerged at the initiative of Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to the Ukrainian minister of internal affairs.

Mirotvorets’ activities boil down to publishing personal information on people who the site’s administrators consider a threat, in one way or another, to Ukrainian statehood.

The site’s owners urge the country’s law enforcement agencies to take note of the personal data and activities of the people it lists. However, street radicals sometimes also take heed of Mirotvorets’ lists.

And every time someone unlucky enough to have had his or her home address or other personal data revealed turns up dead, the site is updated: the name of the deceased now appears in bright flickering letters reminiscent of a Las Vegas casino, and the person’s photo is crossed out with the callous inscription: ‘liquidated’.

For example, the current Mirotvorets’ web page design displays this way the data of the Russian journalist Darya Dugina, daughter of the philosopher Aleksandr, who was brutally killed last weekend in her own car.

Despite the accusations from the Russian FSB, Ukraine denies any involvement in that murder. On Mirotvorets, however, Dugina’s death is described with a brief, dehumanizing commentary, along with a conspiracy theory: “Liquidated by the special services of fascist russia (sic) due to interspecies disagreements.”
