After listening to most of this video, I do sympathize with some of this man's point and have thought of many solutions to these problems.

  1. A living wage

  2. A broken body from slaving

  3. Getting something (certs) out of a relationship

  4. being ripped off from an employer for services rendered

But this is capitalism and here is the problem. Owners take risks and many go under loosing everything. Employers have extra costs such as rent, utils, equipment costs, retirement funds, and various others. There comes a point when a company is well established that they should pay back the dedicated but 99% play the zero sum burn out game. In order to rectify we need new labor laws.

  1. Guaranteed paid certs after x years of service

  2. Mandatory profit sharing and inclusion in HR hiring process

  3. Guaranteed health, retirement, wages per standards

Unfortunately everyone is so greedy that if you start a small business you have to do everything yourself, then you realize the many hats and costs in resources.
