This is when the Creator separated the water from the heavens and the earth
firmament is the heavens in this instance, not the sky (atmosphere surrounding earth)
Proven by the D/H ratio (protium and deuterium water ratio) in the earth's unique blend of water
which is a reason why astrobiologists cannot agree on where earth's water came from and are frantic to find the answer as they do not factor in the Creator of the universe into their formula.
