It sounds as though our thinking on this pretty much aligns here. A lie begets a lie. Although any honest assessment, to this anon's way of thinking, must include a straight line drawn all the way back through 9-11, The Hainan Island incident, TWA 800, the US bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, and points beyond into the past.

Fear is never rational and only useful (in groups) if escape is a real possibility. If life has taught anon anything about government, then it is that escaping it would be like trying to run away from one's own shadow. Government is neccessary. And can be useful, beneficial, and yes even desired. It can also be the train wreck that we are all witnessing.
