FNC’s Carlson: Biden Ukraine Policy ‘Only Makes Sense’ if Goal Is to Destroy the West, Make Way for Chinese Dominance

Monday, FNC’s Tucker Carlson speculated why the Biden administration and its allies’ approach to the Russia-Ukraine conflict seemed counter to the West’s interests.

According to Carlson, such tactics were detrimental to the West and could result in China filling any vacuum created by that policy.

CARLSON: As we’ve often noted on this show, because it’s hard not to notice, we are living in one of those moments where so much is happening all at once and information about it all is so tightly controlled that huge history changing events can occur and in fact are occurring right now and nobody seems aware of them. It’s pretty unsettling, actually.

Here is one example: Europe is descending into poverty. Did you know that? Had someone told you that?

So, the most advanced continent on the planet, the birthplace of Western civilization, our civilization, is getting much poorer very quickly. It’s moving backward at high speed.

Just a year ago, Europe was a modern place. For example, the overwhelming majority of Europeans heated their homes with natural gas, as modern people do.

In Germany, the continent’s richest country, only about six percent of households, most of them rural, heated with cordwood and you’d expect that, given that, again, Germany is a modern industrialized country with central heating and indoor plumbing and all the other trappings of a society that has moved beyond the medieval period.

Last year, only about six percent of Germans used wood to heat their homes, but that has changed dramatically. Demand for firewood in Germany has risen so fast that there is none left to buy. You can’t get it, so desperate Germans are now cutting their own wood, scouring the forests like their ancestors for sources of heat. Watch.

NBC REPORTER: Some in Germany are taking matters into their own hands for solutions that might look like a blast from the past.

About two hours outside Berlin, residents of this small town have turned to wood chips for fuel.

NBC REPORTER: “We have to be innovative,” said the project’s organizer. “If we don’t act and just rely on the government to solve the crisis, we will never succeed.”

This burner will soon fuel most of this village of 60 people.

In Poland, families are standing in line for days to buy coal, not in 1910, right now, tonight. Cars queued up outside coal mines hoping for fuel.

“This is beyond imagination,” one 57-year-old Polish man told Reuters. “People are sleeping in their cars. I remember the communist times, but it didn’t cross my mind that we could return to something even worse.”

Blackburn: ‘You Have a Political Cabal Inside the FBI’

Tuesday, during an appearance on FBN’s “Mornings with Maria,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) called the recent allegations that FBI agents acted based on politics a “cabal” and called for agents involved to be fired.

“When the FBI became a politicized agency, people started to distrust what they were doing,” she said. “Now, there are some really good FBI agents. The majority of FBI agents are effective, they’re good, and they keep their commitment, their integrity. Many of them have become whistleblowers and have revealed information to Senator [Chuck] Grassley and to us there at the Judiciary Committee. They have raised their concerns. But when you have a political cabal inside the FBI agency that is deciding whether they are going to push forward information or suppress other information — and, Cheryl, we saw this with the Russia collusion hoax.”

“Of course, I asked Christopher Wray about that when he came before us at our Oversight Committee hearing earlier this month,” Blackburn continued. “When you have them deciding to suppress the information on Hunter Biden and about his laptop and even going to Facebook and saying, ‘You might want to be wary of this.’ And we don’t know if they went to the other social media platforms or not, but that is something we will be able to investigate and find out exactly who all is involved in this political cabal. And each and every one of them that have decided to use their position at the FBI to push forward a political agenda. They should be removed and allow the good, honest, trustworthy agents who work hard every day to protect our citizens, allow them to do their job.”

Farmers in northern Belgium attempted to break into the town hall of Hoogstraten after staging a mass protest in response to the government’s EU-driven agenda to cut nitrogen emissions, as is being attempted in the Netherlands.

The European Union’s Natura 2000 network, which mandates that the 27 member states must protect designated habitats in a “sustainable manner, both ecologically and economically,” and therefore must cut nitrogen emissions — spurring widespread unrest among the Dutch Farmers — has now spread to the heart of the EU in Belgium, with farmers driving their tractors to the centre of Hoogstraten on Monday evening.

The protesters, who set fires on the street and attempted to stage a break-in of the city hall, were reportedly angered by the local government expressing support for the national government’s plan to impose limits on nitrogen, a move that would disproportionately impact the farming industry, the local Het Laatste Nieuws newspaper reported.

Before imposing the restrictions, the national government requested advice from municipalities. While nearly every other local council submitted a negative view of the plans in the agricultural region, the local government of Hoogstraten submitted positive advice, despite the fact that a public survey had resulted in 373 objections compared to just 24 positive comments on the plan.

The failure to listen to the public sparked outrage amongst the farmers, who drove their tractors to the town centre, blockading the town hall and eventually attempting to break into the government building, though police ultimately prevented such action.

The protest in Belgium follows months of demonstrations in the Netherlands, where the Dutch farmers have risen up against the government of globalist PM Mark Rutte attempting to usher in similar measures, which could shut down as much as 30 per cent of all livestock farms in the nation.

The Dutch farmers have claimed that other nations within the European Union have not imposed such draconian measures to allegedly protect habitats and therefore their government is putting them at a disadvantage.

Agriculture plays a vital role in the Dutch economy, with the LTO national farming lobbying group estimating the industry accounts for 54,000 businesses throughout the country and produced 94.5 billion euros in exports in 2019. The Netherlands is also the largest exporter of meat in Europe and the fifth-largest dairy exporter globally.

Speaking to Breitbart News in July, Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek claimed that the move from the Rutte government was nothing more than a “pilot” programme of the Great Reset agenda through governments reclaiming power and property from the public.

HAND IT OVER, ZUCK! GOP Senators Demand Facebook's FBI Communications on Hunter Biden

GOP Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) are demanding Mark Zuckerberg and his Facebook buddies hand over all communications they had with the FBI regarding Hunter Biden.

Zuckerberg revealed Facebook spoke with the FBI during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

“Basically, the background here is the FBI, I think basically came to us – some folks on our team – and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert. We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.’”

Now, the GOP Senators want answers.

According to The New York Post, “In a new letter to Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg Monday, Sen. Johnson, ranking member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and Sen. Grassley, ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, also asked for the names of all FBI and DOJ officials who warned Facebook that an impending document dump before the 2020 election would be Russian disinformation, leading the social media giant mistakenly to suppress The Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story.”

“The American people deserve to know whether the FBI used Facebook as part of their alleged plan to discredit information about Hunter Biden,” wrote the Senators.

“If so, Congress and the American people require clarity with respect to the extent the FBI communicated with Facebook during the 2020 election about Hunter Biden-related information.”

The Senators also sent a second letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher demanding records relating to the DOJ and FBI’s contact with Facebook

“The FBI’s consistent efforts to falsely paint information relating to Biden family misconduct as Russian disinformation continues to draw serious concerns,” they wrote.

“In August 2020 the FBI provided an unnecessary and unsolicited briefing that was used by our Democratic colleagues to falsely paint our Biden investigation as advancing Russian disinformation. Our investigation was based on Obama/Biden administration records and included transcribed interviews of witnesses who were once employees of that administration. The FBI’s ill-conceived actions not only interfered in our congressional investigation by frustrating and obstructing our ability to advance the matters under review, it also interfered in the 2020 election,” the Senators wrote.

Pfizer now pushing ingestible drugs with embedded MICROCHIPS

The globalist agenda of medical control, which began with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, is set to hit a new level with Pfizer’s push for oral drugs with microchips embedded in them.

Albert Bourla, CEO of the New York-based drug company, touted the importance of this development during the 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Switzerland. He explained that each tablet would contain a “biological chip” for tracking and surveillance purposes. Authorities would be informed that the drug was taken once the tablet is consumed and dissolved inside the body, ensuring compliance.

“Imagine the compliance,” said Bourla at the time. “Imagine the applications of that. The insurance companies know that the medicines patients should take, they take them.” (Related: FLASHBACK: Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla fantasized at World Economic Forum in 2018 about feeding people Wi-Fi microchip drugs.)

An article on the WEF’s website discussed the chip implant technology, which Bourla is promoting through ingestible microchips that stay in the body.

“As scary as chip implants may sound, they form part of a natural evolution that wearables once underwent,” wrote Kathleen Philips, vice president for research and development at the Interuniversity Microelectronics Center in Belgium.

She added: “Hearing aids or glasses no longer carry a stigma. They are accessories and are even considered a fashion item. Likewise, implants will evolve into a commodity.”

Philips also justified children taking these ingestible microchips, saying: “There are solid, rational reasons for it – like safety.”

Critics, however, pointed out that the WEF article by Philips used a wrong analogy. Glasses and hearing aids are not embedded in the body, and they cannot be controlled by outside forces.

Paul Joseph Watson of Summit News also had strong words. “The article pushes the notion that augmented humans are inevitable and that global elites need to establish a power monopoly over the technology in order to ‘ethically’ regulate it,” he wrote.

“The technology is in need of ‘the right support, vision and audacity,’ which of course will be provided by your technocratic overlords, the same people who are desperately trying to censor the internet so they can’t be criticized.”

WEF CEO promotes microchips

Interestingly, WEF CEO Klaus Schwab has also aggressively promoted microchips, claiming these will be implantable and able to read one’s thoughts.

In his book “The Great Reset,” Schwab promoted what he calls the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the idea of transhumanism. This revolution, he wrote, would “lead to a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identity.”

Israeli intellectual Yuval Noah Harari, a top advisor to the WEF, also said people are already “hackable animals” and “free will is no more” once they receive the experimental jabs.

“COVID is critical because this is what convinces people to accept to legitimize total biometric surveillance. We need to not just monitor people, we need to monitor what is happening under their skin,” said Harari, who styles himself as a “prophet of the new age.”

Vascular and organ damage induced by mRNA vaccines: irrefutable proof of causality

This article summarizes evidence from experimental studies and from autopsies of patients deceased after vaccination. The collective findings demonstrate that

mRNA vaccines don’t stay at the injection site by instead travel throughout the body and accumulate in various organs,

mRNA-based COVID vaccines induce long-lasting expression of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in many organs,

vaccine-induced expression of the spike protein induces autoimmune-like inflammation,

vaccine-induced inflammation can cause grave organ damage, especially in vessels, sometimes with deadly outcome.

We note that the damage mechanism is which emerges from the autopsy studies is not limited to COVID-19 vaccines only but is completely general—it must be expected to occur similarly with mRNA vaccines against any and all infectious pathogens. This technology has failed and must be abandoned.

While clinical case reports (e.g. [1,2]) and statistical analyses of accumulated adverse event reports (e.g. [3,4]) provide valuable evidence of damage induced by mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines, it is important to establish a causal relationship in individual cases. Pathology remains the gold standard for proof of disease causation. This short paper will discuss some key findings on autopsy materials from patients who died within days to several months after vaccination. With the help of his colleague Prof. Walter Lang, he has studied numerous cases of death which occurred within days to several months after vaccination. In each of these cases, the cause of death had been certified as “natural” or “unknown.” Burkhardt became involved only because the bereaved families doubted these verdicts and sought a second opinion. It is remarkable, therefore, that Burkhardt found not just a few but the majority of these deaths to be due to vaccination.

While all four major manufacturers of gene-based vaccines were represented in the sample of patients studied by Burkhardt and Lang, most patients had received an mRNA vaccine from either Pfizer or Moderna. Some of the deceased patients had received both mRNA- and viral vector-based vaccines on separate occasions.

The political power of Israel’s not-so-secret nuclear arsenal

Palestinians suffer from the effects of Israel's nuclear-weapons blackmail every day of their lives.

All this month, representatives of the 191 states that are parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) are meeting in New York for the tenth of the “Review Conferences” they regularly hold to assess the effectiveness of this creaking, 52-year-old treaty. The last RevCon, held in 2015, ended in a deadlocked failure—because the U.S. delegate refused to let the other conferees hold Israel accountable for its decades-long flouting of the world’s non-proliferation rules. In other words, the Obama administration, like every U.S. administration since JFK, refused to do anything that might publicize or challenge Israel’s possession of a large arsenal of very advanced and destructive nuclear weapons.

Might Washington’s shielding of Israel’s nuclear arsenal be repeated at this year’s NPT RevCon, and might it yet again lead to the failure of the RevCon to produce any meaningful results? That’s a distinct possibility, but don’t expect the titans of the corporate media to be reporting this significant story any time soon. By common agreement, the barons of the corporate media adhere almost wholly to a strict vow of omertà regarding any news about Israel’s nuclear arsenal. Their longstanding practice has been to keep the attention of their readers and viewers focused elsewhere: either on the possibility that Iran might edge closer to acquiring a nuclear weapon, or on “threats” from a range of non-nuclear weapons around the region, primarily alleged chemical-weapons threats in Iraq, or Syria, or wherever.

One tiny recent exception to the vow of omertà was last year’s NYT op-ed by Peter Beinart, “America needs to start telling the truth about Israel’s nukes.” Apart from that, crickets.

Israel put its first Hiroshima-style, nuclear- fission weapons together in 1967. It had benefited from technological help from the French government and from other actors in Norway and the United States. Less than two decades later, Israel had developed the ability to build a large number of the much more destructive thermonuclear type of weapon. We know that, because in 1986 nuclear technician Mordechai Vanunu heroically blew the whistle on what he and his colleagues had been doing at Israel’s main nuclear facility in Dimona.

Based on the information that Vanunu provided, the British nuclear-weapons expert Frank Barnaby concluded that at that point, “Israel could produce about 7 nuclear weapons a year and may now have well over 100.” Barnaby added that Vanunu’s evidence about Dimona “implies that Israel has thermonuclear weapons.”

US Invades Syria, Kills People, Claims Self-Defense

Numerous Syrian and foreign militants have reportedly been killed and several US troops injured in an escalating exchange of attacks between the American invaders and the people in the country whose territory they are illegally occupying.

On Tuesday night US Central Command announced that it had “conducted precision airstrikes in Deir ez-Zor Syria” in order to “defend and protect U.S. forces from attacks like the ones on August 15 against U.S. personnel by Iran-backed groups.”

“The President gave the direction for these strikes pursuant to his Article II authority to protect and defend U.S. personnel by disrupting or deterring attacks by Iran-backed groups,” CENTCOM said.

Iran has denied any link to the troops targeted in the airstrikes, up to ten of whom were reportedly killed.

The US attack was followed by rocket attacks on US military positions in eastern Syria, injuring an unknown number of US troops, to which the US responded with an Apache helicopter assault on Syrian vehicles from which it claims the rockets were launched. Central Command claims “two or three suspected Iran-backed militants” were killed in the helicopter attack.

As of this writing it remains to be seen if this exchange of attacks will continue, but what’s crystal clear is who the aggressor is.

“US claims to be in Syria to fight ISIS, but it rarely fights ISIS,” journalist Aaron Maté tweeted of the exchange. “It’s actually there to deny Syria its own oil and wheat, and to occasionally attack Syrians and their allies who defeated US-backed sectarian death squads in the dirty war.”

What he says is completely true. The US is an occupying force who is there without the permission of the Syrian government, without having been attacked by Syria, and without any valid claim to be defending itself from anyone in Syria. The “Iran-backed” militias in Syria are operating with the full authorization of the Syrian government. The US has quite literally invaded a nation on the other side of the world, killed the people in that nation who don’t want them there, and then claimed self-defense in doing so.

If I broke into my neighbor’s house to steal his things, and then murdered him when he tried to stop me or make me leave, it would look pretty ridiculous if I tried to plead self-defense. It would look even more ridiculous if anyone believed me.

This comes at the same time as a report from Axios that the British special envoy to Syria had nothing but glowing things to say about the way Israel has been constantly bombing Syria for years:

“The British special envoy for Syria told Israeli officials during a visit to Jerusalem several weeks ago that the Israeli airstrike campaign against Iranian military targets is ‘probably the only thing that works in Syria,’ Israeli Foreign Ministry officials briefed on the meetings told Axios.”

“In recent years, Israel has launched hundreds of airstrikes in Syria,” writes Antiwar’s Dave DeCamp on the Axios report. “The Israelis say that the bombing campaign is to prevent Iran from becoming further entrenched in the country, but the strikes often kill Syrian troops and sometimes kill civilians and damage civilian infrastructure.”

“The US tacitly endorses the bombing campaign in Syria and reportedly coordinates some of the strikes,” adds DeCamp. “In June, The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel secretly coordinates the bombings with the US and that Washington has approved many Israeli airstrikes that were launched from areas near a US base in southern Syria.”

Towards a “Long War”, No Diplomatic Solution in Sight: Biden to Name a US Military Operation for Ukraine

Amid the news about the admin’s multi-year weapons investment, a general will be appointed for a separate command, too.

Two things that point to the notion that Washington is supporting a long war in Ukraine, and truly doesn’t think there will be a diplomatic solution or cessation of violence there anytime soon: one, the $3 billion in recently announced military transfers is a “multi-year military investment” including weapons that won’t be available via defense contractors for at least three years.

Secondly, a little nugget dropped on us Wednesday night: Biden plans on “naming ” the U.S. military assistance mission in Ukraine and making it a separate command with its own general. You know, like Operation Desert Storm, Operation Gothic Serpent, Operation Uphold Democracy, or Operation Unified Protector. We can expect the name, when it comes, will be heavy on the righteous benefactor angle, softer on the sword. But it is nevertheless a military operation, and that carries with it some practical, and serious implications. From WSJ:

The naming of the operation formally recognizes the U.S. effort within the military, akin to how the Pentagon dubbed the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. The naming of the training and assistance is significant bureaucratically, as it typically entails long-term, dedicated funding and the possibility of special pay, ribbons and awards for service members participating in the effort. The selection of a general, expected to be a two- or three-star, reflects the creation of a c

ommand responsible to coordinate the effort, a shift from the largely ad hoc effort to provide training and assistance to the Ukrainians for years.

This does not seem like a formula for bringing the war to a swift end.

This seems like an all-too familiar set up for a “long hard slog.” Ukraine may be in the driver’s seat today, but the West, which most certainly includes the hawkish UK foreign policy elite, appears to be more interested in seeing this through as this era’s Soviet-Afghan war, or the U.S. war in Afghanistan itself, which took two decades before Washington finally threw up its hands and walked away.

Russia, for its part, just announced a plan to expand its military forces, signaling its own commitment to the long war.

Rather than putting energy into getting both sides into a position where they can begin talking about a ceasefire and some sort of negotiated settlement, Washington is naming a new command. If this is not acknowledging a deeper level of U.S. military involvement, what is it? And if so, why shouldn’t the American people be wary?

Biden to Ask Congress to Approve $1.1 Billion Arms Sale for Taiwan

The planned sale comes amid soaring tensions sparked by Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan

The Biden administration is planning to ask Congress to approve a $1.1 billion arms sale for Taiwan that includes anti-ship missiles and anti-air missiles, Politico reported on Monday, citing sources with knowledge of the weapons package.

The arms package will include 60 Harpoon anti-ship missiles worth $355 million, 100 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles worth $85.6 million, and$655.4 million for a surveillance radar contract extension.

Once the Biden administration notifies Congress of its intent to make the sale, it starts a review period. Since there is massive bipartisan support for arming Taiwan, the deal will likely be easily approved.

The planned sale comes amid soaring tensions that were sparked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan at the beginning of August. China responded by launching its largest-ever military exercises around the island. More US delegations visited Taiwan throughout August, and the US sailed two warships through the Taiwan Strait over the weekend.

Since Washington severed diplomatic relations with Taipei in 1979, the US has continued to sell weapons to the island. But those arms sales have increased in recent years, and the US has taken other steps to boost ties with Taiwan as part of its strategy against China.

Last week, Taiwan’s cabinet unveiled a plan to boost military spending by 13.9%. The additional funds will go toward the procurement of new weapons and will pay for Taiwan’s military operations that are being done in response to China’s stepped-up presence around the island, a consequence of Pelosi’s visit.

On September 1, 2021, Hadiya (last name withheld for security reasons) fled her home in Kabul with her parents Mirwais and Zarmina, and her older sister Marwa. All they took with them were their cell phones, a laptop computer, and the clothes on their backs.

Hadiya, 22, and her family escaped the Taliban takeover and the chaotic United States military withdrawal from Afghanistan following a 20-year war. Tuesday marks the first anniversary of the end of the pullout resulting in the evacuation of tens of thousands of US-affiliated and at-risk Afghans.

“We had to get out. My father had been a journalist in the past with Radio Azadi [formerly Radio Free Afghanistan] and was at the time working for the Afghan army. And my sister had a high profile position in the Afghan interior ministry,” Hadiya said.

Rather than heading to the mobbed Kabul airport, Hadiya and her family laid low at home until an American advisor told them to drive to another province seven hours away. They stayed there 20 days until the Taliban agreed to terms for their exit. The US military flew the family to a base in Qatar. They were there for a month before being transferred to a military base in Virginia, where they lived with other evacuees for more than two months.

In an interview with The Times of Israel from her new home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hadiya said that her family would have been in “a bad situation,” had they not been helped by volunteers from the Harrisburg Jewish community.

Jordan: FBI whistleblowers reveal 'over two dozen' probes of parents opposing school policies

Ohio Republican says agents are being encouraged to label everything "extremist" for political purposes.

FBI whistleblowers have come forward to Congress to describe improper politicization of investigations ranging from the Jan. 6 riots to more than two dozen parents who were probed as domestic terrorists for objecting to local school board policies, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee says.

"I anticipate more coming forward," Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told the "Just the News, Not Noise" television show on Monday night. "I've never seen anything like this. I mean, truly, it seems like every other week we're hearing from someone."

Jordan said his legal staff has heard from a total of 14 FBI whistleblowers so far, and all are raising the same concern about the bureau's conduct. The agents are "emphasizing just how political things have gotten," he said.

"We've had them on the school boards issue. We've had them concerning Jan. 6," Jordan said. "Agents are being pressured to label and categorize all cases as domestic violence, extremism."

Jordan said the first whistleblowers emerged last fall after the National School Boards Association sent a letter to the Biden administration comparing parents who protested at school board meetings to domestic terrorists.

Five days later, the FBI was directed by the DOJ to investigate the threats being made against the school boards.

The whistleblowers have provided a more complete picture to congressional investigators since, revealing that at least a dozen cases were opened against parents in the aftermath of the school board controversy.

"The first one came late last fall, when this guy came forward and said, 'Yeah, this is what's going on,'" the congressman recalled. "And he talked about this memorandum that was sent out to U.S. attorneys, and then we had a whistleblower come forward and talk to us about what the FBI had sent out where they use this threat tag designation, and subsequent to that, on just that issue, we've had a whistleblower talk to us about the over two dozen cases where parents were investigated."

Jordan said the whistleblowers were playing an essential role, creating a check and balance against the bureau's law enforcement powers to ensure that they weren't being weaponized for political purposes.

"God bless these individuals who are willing to come forward and tell us that this is not how it's supposed to work," Jordan said.

On Tuesday evening, however, Pollard told Arutz Sheva that it was "made clear" to him that "she refuses to remove Yoaz Handel from her list and to commit that she will only join a right-wing government."

"This raises real concerns that she will once again transfer votes from the right to the left. That's why I retract my support for her," said Pollard.

"I was happy to hear this morning about Jonathan Pollard's support for me," said Shaked in response Pollard's announcement on Tuesday evening. "The poison machine directed at him from the moment he announced his support for me put Jonathan in an impossible situation and I'm glad he pulled himself out of the eye of the storm. An Israeli hero like Jonathan deserves to be at the heart of consensus and not become a target in the toxic discourse of Israeli politics. As I have said at every stage in recent weeks - only together we will win, this is the secret of the strength of the people of Israel."

In his earlier video, Pollard had criticized Shaked’s involvement in the previous government.

“Yes, she exhibited misplaced loyalty in our last government, but I truly believe that she realizes the mistakes she made and will not repeat them,” he said. “We need her now, free and clear of the bad influences that hurt both her personal reputation and her political credibility.

“We all make errors in judgment. There are differences between those of us who refuse to acknowledge such errors and those of us who recognize their errors and commit never to repeat them. I believe Ayelet Shaked is just such a person and deserves to be given an opportunity to continue being part of Israel’s leadership,” Pollard said.

Nancy Pelosi calls abortion restrictions ‘sinful’ during ‘Women’s Equality Day’ event==

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has once again criticized the pro-life movement, calling its efforts to save unborn babies “sinful”.

Pelosi made the remarks during a “roundtable discussion,” which took place at the University of California in San Francisco to mark “Women’s Equality Day” last Friday.

“The fact that this is such an assault [sic] on women of color and…lower income families is just sinful. It’s sinful,” Pelosi said about abortion restrictions.

“It’s wrong that they would be able to say to women what they think women should be doing with their lives and their bodies. But it’s sinful, the injustice of it all.”

The House Speaker emphasized August 26 as a “day of action throughout the country because it’s Women’s Equality Day.” She added that the day was about “women saving our democracy.”

In her sometimes rambling and unclear speech, Pelosi referred to the natural state of pregnancy and of giving birth to “unimaginable pain.”

Referring to California’s commitment to abortion, Pelosi said, “We take pride in California’s leadership on reproductive health, as I mentioned. A beacon of hope and refuge in a time of widespread fear. Emboldened by the radical Supreme Court, extreme MAGA Republicans are inflicting unimaginable pain on women and their families.”

A self-described devout Catholic, Pelosi seemed to conflate contraception, the attempt to prevent the conception of a child, with abortion, the killing of the unborn child, and suggested pro-life Americans are inspired by a “crusade of punishment and control.”

“There’s a battle being waged, a crusade of punishment and control,” Pelosi declared. “It’s funny, they don’t like birth control, but they want to control women’s lives.”

Pelosi stated that Republicans taking leadership in Congress would lead to “a national ban on abortion” and cited pro-life Justice Clarence Thomas’ observation that, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, legal rulings on same-sex marriage and contraception should be revisited. However, Pelosi didn’t see this in terms of law, as Thomas does, but in terms of “personal freedom.”

“Justice Clarence Thomas, Clarence Thomas, made it very clear, too, this isn’t all that is there. It’s about marriage equality. It’s about a woman’s right to choose, contraception. It’s about other aspects of personal freedom,” she said before acknowledging that Republican women voters are not choosing pro-abortion legislators.

Zuckerberg’s Admission Of FBI Meddling In 2020 Election Is Even Bigger Than It Seems

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s admission last week that the FBI pushed the social media giant to censor Russian misinformation — and thus the Hunter Biden laptop story, as that’s how the agency and Democrats characterized it — shortly before the November 2020 election is but a breadcrumb of a bigger scandal: the widespread interference by the FBI in the 2020 presidential election with the potential that the bureau coordinated its efforts with the Biden campaign.

When asked during a Thursday podcast with Joe Rogan how Facebook handles controversial news, such as the Hunter Biden laptop story, Zuckerberg stopped his host to provide a backdrop to Facebook’s decision to decrease distribution of the scandal.

“The FBI basically came to us, some folks on our team, [saying,] ‘Hey just so you know, you should be on high alert,” Zuckerberg told Rogan. According to Zuckerberg, the bureau told Facebook that “we thought there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election” and that “we have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump similar to that so just be vigilant.”

As Zuckerberg told “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast audience, “Hey, look, if the FBI — which I still view as a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement — they come to us and tell us we need to be on guard about something, I want to take that seriously.” So, when the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story on October 14, 2020, Facebook treated the story as “potentially misinformation, important misinformation” for five to seven days while the tech giant’s team could determine whether it was false.

During that time, Facebook decreased its distribution of the story by making the story rank lower in the news feed. “You could still share it, you could still consume it,” Zuckerberg explained, but “fewer people saw it than would have otherwise.” And while he would not quantify the impact, the Facebook founder said the decreased distribution was “meaningful.”

In a follow-up, Rogan asked if the FBI had specifically said “to be on guard about that story,” meaning the laptop story. After originally responding, “no,” Zuckerberg corrected himself, saying, “I don’t remember if it was that specifically, but it basically fit the pattern.”

Whether the FBI identified the Hunter Biden laptop story as the about-to-drop Russian misinformation, however, is irrelevant because the warning the bureau provided Facebook proved specific enough for the Big Tech company to censor distribution of the New York Post’s story. And, contrary to fake intel the FBI provided Facebook’s team, the laptop was not Russian disinformation but a true and devastating story showing Joe Biden had lied to the American public when he claimed in September of 2019 that he had never discussed his son’s foreign business dealings. Information on the laptop further implicated the Democrat presidential candidate in a pay-to-play scandal involving Russia, Ukraine, and China.

The implications flowing from Zuckerberg’s revelation are huge and raise a litany of questions that demand answers.

House GOP Launches Investigation Into DOJ Inspector General — Over Confiscation Of Congressman’s Phone

They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. Perry asserted in his statement that “as with President Trump last night, DOJ chose this unnecessary and aggressive action instead of simply contacting my attorneys. These kinds of banana republic tactics should concern every Citizen — especially considering the decision before Congress this week to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to further persecute law-abiding Citizens.”

House Judiciary Committee Republicans are now opening an investigation into DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz over his involvement in examining the cell phone.

In a letter sent by Jim Jordan, he said it “creates a serious conflict of interest for the OIG in reviewing the Department’s actions.”

Jordan added, “the OIG’s role relating to the seizure of Representative Perry’s phone is inconsistent with your responsibility to conduct independent oversight of the Department and extremely troubling in light of your statutory reporting requirements to Congress.”

'Stolen' federal election narratives saw TikTok asked by AEC to remove footage of vote counting

Australia's election watchdog was forced to ask TikTok to remove footage of staff inside counting centres and polling places during the recent federal election, amid efforts by fringe groups and politicians to promote "stolen election" narratives.

Correspondence with the popular video platform, obtained by the ABC via a document request, shows the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) contacted TikTok to remove multiple versions of a video that allegedly captured AEC employees without their knowledge, and accused the AEC of "rigging the election".

"Content that impinges on the safety and/or privacy of our permanent or temporary staff is of course of significant concern," AEC spokesperson Evan Ekin-Smyth said.

"We take these matters very seriously."

While the source of the videos was redacted, the ABC reported during the 2022 campaign that "freedom parties" and groups linked to Australia's anti-lockdown movement were encouraging supporters to sign up as scrutineers to challenge vote counting.

The effort was part of a push to undermine trust in the Australian election by borrowing from unproven allegations in the United States that the 2020 presidential election was compromised by voter fraud.

A number of unproven claims were made about ballot tampering and rigged voting counts on social media throughout the election and even via images sent to a Sydney radio station, which were swiftly debunked by the AEC and fact checkers.

The newly released correspondence shows the AEC requested companies like TikTok and YouTube remove or block election-related content it believed was unlawful or breached the platforms' own standards.

Concerns over safety during the election campaign

The secret filming of AEC staff followed increased awareness of threats made against politicians during the pandemic.

In the lead-up to the May vote, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) set up a task force to investigate security threats to parliamentarians and candidates.

Operation Wilmot conducted 39 investigations into reports of electoral-related crime, according to the AFP, including security threats to parliamentarians and candidates using a "carriage service".

At least 14 matters are ongoing, and criminal charges were laid in two cases.

On May 23, the AEC emailed TikTok with a video that "records one of our staff members without their awareness or consent inside of a counting centre".

The correspondence shows the AEC met multiple times with the major social media companies including Twitter, Facebook and even Microsoft's LinkedIn in the lead-up to the federal election to prepare avenues for reporting problematic content.

A brand new virus has been detected at the Chinese laboratory at the centre of Covid's origin.

Researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology discovered the pathogen — code-named LsPyV KY187 — in a mouse.

It belongs to a family of polyomaviruses which infect millions of children every year but are extremely mild.

Scientists at the controversial lab made the find after testing hundreds of rodents in Kenya in 2016 and 2019.

Samples were then sent for analysis at the biochemical research facility in Wuhan, the city at the epicentre of the Covid pandemic.

The new polyomavirus was detected in a striped grass mouse, sometimes known as a zebra mouse.

It was revealed in a study published in the Chinese journal Virologica Sinica this month.

Because the new virus is not closely related to any known pathogen, its effect on people is 'unclear and needs to be further assessed', the researchers said.

The discovery highlights how it is business at usual at the Wuhan lab, despite lingering questions about its ties to the pandemic.

Covid began spreading in an animal slaughter market about eight miles from the WIV, which worked with dangerous coronaviruses.

Elon Musk has formally written to Twitter to end their $44 billion merger agreement, documents from the SEC have revealed, citing 'certain facts' he claims he was not aware of when he first stated his intention to pull out on July 8.

Musk's legal team filed a Schedule 13D document yesterday, confirming to the government agency that the serial entrepreneur, referred to in the document as 'the Reporting Person', had notified Twitter of his formal decision to terminate the merger.

'On August 29, 2022, the Reporting Person's advisors sent a letter (the 'August 29 Termination Letter') to Twitter (on the Reporting Person's behalf) formally notifying Twitter that the Reporting Person is terminating their merger agreement (the 'Merger Agreement'),' the document read.

An accompanying letter addressed to the Chief Legal Officer of Twitter from Musk's team told the social media giant that 'certain facts undisclosed to the Musk Parties (on July 8) have come to light that provide additional and distinct bases to terminate the Merger Agreement.'

It comes after the Tesla and SpaceX CEO's lawyers subpoenaed a former security chief at Twitter who claimed company executives knew about the site's lax security and provided the public with false statements.

Peiter Zatko, who goes by the nickname Mudge in the hacking community, filed a damning whistleblower complaint last month alleging the social media giant were not forthcoming to the public and Musk about its security practices.

He accused Twitter of years of 'material misrepresentation and omissions' about security and privacy protections, claiming company executives have 'lied' about the number of spam or bot accounts.

The company has strongly denied these claims, but Musk's legal team is now asking Zatko to appear for a deposition on September 9 in the billionaire's ongoing legal battle to back out of his $44 billion takeover of Twitter.

Lawyers have also requester further information on any reports about privacy vulnerabilities that Zatko may have sent to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal or other top employees and are asking the company to provide more information about the section of Twitter's annual report that discusses fake accounts.

The move comes as Musk prepares to face off against Twitter executives in federal court in October.

He has argued for weeks that company executives misled him about the number of fake accounts on the platform — which he relied upon when he agreed to the acquisition.

I have written about the Ukrainian hit list known as Mirotvorets, or “Peacekeeper,” twice before. The first time was in this article about internet censorship, and the second time was when a 13-year-old Ukrainian girl, Faina Savenkova, was added to the list for publicly speaking out against Kiev’s bloody war on Russian-speaking civilians in the eastern part of Ukraine, a region known as the Donbass.

Mirotvorets is a database which lists thousands of journalists, activists, and anyone else who is declared an “Enemy of Ukraine.” Their personal information is published, such as the addresses of their homes, their phone numbers and bank account numbers; anything that can help them be easily located. When the people on this list are murdered, like Italian journalist Andrea Rocchelli was, the word ЛИКВИДИРОВАН, “LIQUIDATED,” written in Ukrainian, is stamped across their picture in big red letters.

And, as of August 22, Daria Dugina, who was killed in a car bomb explosion in Moscow on Saturday, appears as “liquidated” on the website, adding more credibility to Russia’s assertion that she was assassinated by a Ukrainian nationalist who rented an apartment in the building where Daria lived in order to surveil her prior to her killing. It is believed that she was killed because her father, Alexander Dugin was referred to as “Putin’s brain” and “Putin’s spiritual guide” in western media, though these claims are really just more speculation.

Paul Sperry: Dirty Peter Strzok Wrote Up Electronic Communication to Formally Launch Trump-Russia Investigation

Paul Sperry published a string of posts today on GETTR pertaining to Peter Strzok and the Electronic Communication (EC) to formally open the investigation into President Trump and Russia — something the entire FBI knew was complete garbage at the time they opened their investigation.

According to Sperry, the highly classified document dated in early May 2017 was written by Peter Strzok at the direction of Andrew McCabe.

These people are criminals.

Paul Sperry: NEW: Sources tell me there is an EC — Electronic Communication — formally opening a counterintelligence case against Trump when he was POTUS. It targets Trump personally, not his advisers or campaign. I’m told Strzok wrote it at the direction of McCabe. It’s dated early May 2017. The document is highly classified and McCabe ordered no circulation via FBI email. But there is no reason it shouldn’t be in Durham’s final report, shouldn’t be disclosed in full, now that the whole world knows the Russiagate probe was a hoax.

Paul Sperry: The very fact Peter Strzok is sitting in on CNN “national security” roundtable discussions regarding Trump and the FBI raid/investigation and smugly popping off with his trademark sneer strongly suggests he’s in no legal jeopardy, has not received a target letter from Durham. There is no way his lawyers would allow him to talk about the FBI and Trump if he were in any danger of being indicted.

Paul Sperry: NEW: Internal FBI communications reveal that fired FBI counterintelligence chief Peter Strzok was so willing and eager to jump on any rumor tying Trump to Russia, no matter how unsubstantiated, that he even circulated inside the Counterintelligence Division at FBI HQ an unfounded 2017 tip from CBS News that falsely claimed Paul Manafort was “recruited and paid” by Russian Intelligence Services to “infiltrate” the Trump campaign

And more on the DOJ affidavit to raid Mar-a-Lago — the DOJ-FBI insisted they did not want the full text of the affidavit released to help Trump — NOT to cover their asses.

Paul Sperry: DOJ argued releasing additional information from the affidavit could “harm” the “reputational interests” of certain individuals such as witnesses named in the document. But was it really worried about their reputations? Or was the real concern harming the reputations of DOJ and FBI officials if the evidence supporting probable cause was exposed as tenuous at best?

Paul Sperry: HOWLER ALERT: DOJ argued to the court in Florida that it had to over-redact its raid affidavit in part to help the Secret Service protect Trump at Mar-a-Lago: “[D]isclosure of certain information pertaining to physical aspects of the premises would negatively affect the Secret Service’s ability to carry out its protective functions.” Yeah, right. They care so much about Trump’s safety!
