Reformulated Covid-19 Booster Shot Gets “Emergency Authorization” Without Ever Being Tested on Humans

The federal government and mockingbird media are still clinging to their slipping grasp of the dwindling minority of Americans who are still concerned about the “pandemic”.

Reported by the USAToday:

The FDA gave emergency authorization to a “bivalent” vaccine that targets both the original virus and the BA.4 and BA.5 variants that now dominate the world…

As requested by the companies, the Pfizer-BioNTech booster was authorized for anyone ages 12 and up, while Moderna’s vaccine is authorized for adults only. Both were authorized for use at least 2 months after any previous COVID-19 shots.

The new vaccine, which is actually called Bivalent, is still not the FDA-approved Cominarty, which is Pfizer’s only FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine. In fact, USAToday claims this modified vaccine is “bivalent”, but the FDA specifically confirms that Cominarty is a monovalent vaccine.

The new COVID boosters were not tested on humans – only mice.

Furthermore, that same FDA webpage lists Cominarty as:

a monovalent COVID-19 vaccine that is approved for use as a two-dose primary series for the prevention of COVID-19

and then immediately underneath it, the FDA states:

Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine is a monovalent COVID-19 vaccine that is authorized for emergency use to prevent COVID-19

and then in another semantics pretzel, they introduce Bivalent:

Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent is authorized for use to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 12 years of age and older

Cominarty is still, to this day, not available in the United States. A USAToday “fact-check” that states the two vaccines are the same and there’s no issue interchanging the two. It’s notable that the USAToday received enough feedback to warrant an entire “fact check” article, but the FDA still won’t address the distinction between the two on their FAQ page. This article from the Brownstone Institute may offer some insight:

“Trump Is His Own Worst Enemy. He’s Incorrigible…The Attacks on the FBI Are Over the Top” – Former AG Bill Barr Goes Off on Trump

Bill Barr turned into a huge disappointment for American Justice. His recent interview along with his past record proves this.

Now he’s calling President Trump “incorrigible” and he agrees with the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Bill Barr is not a dummy but he doesn’t appear to be very honest either. Barr was interviewed on the Bari Weiss podcast where he discussed many topics.

Barr started off his interview by saying the following:

…Trump is his own worst enemy. He’s incorrigible. He doesn’t take advice from people. And you’re not going to teach an old dog new tricks.

Barr continued by propping up the lie that Joe Biden won the 2020 Election outright and shared the following about President Trump:

…He continued to be self-indulgent and petty and turned off key constituencies that ultimately made the difference in the election.

[President Trump received 75 million legitimate votes in the 2020 Election – more than any President or Republican ever. Barr apparently believes senile Joe Biden recieved 81 legitimate votes as well.]

In regards to Russiagate Barr said that Russia stole emails and dumped them into the public arena. But this is not true. The CEO of Crowdstrike, the firm identified in public reports as supporting the claims that Russia hacked the DNC and gave the emails to WikiLeaks in 2016, shared under oath that there was no evidence for this.

The 2020 Election never should have been certified but it was. Bill Barr gave the uncertifiable election the push to be certified. It couldn’t have been done without Barr. He was a big reason that events in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and across the country were given the Deep State’s seal of approval.

Barr shared this about the 2020 Election:

Immediately on election night, the president came downstairs early in the morning and started saying there was major fraud underway and pointing to the fact that votes at the end of the evening were overwhelmingly Democrat. But we had expected that all along. Everyone had been saying that’s exactly what would happen. Using that as evidence of fraud made no sense to me. Suggesting there was major fraud as early as he did, in retrospect, looks to me as if that was the plan for election night. If we think we’re going to lose, we’re going to claim it was fraud.

In any event, right away there were all these allegations spilling in about election fraud. The Department of Justice has control over investigating fraud, but not challenging rule changes or allegations that the rules weren’t being followed. Those have to be litigated by the states. The more we looked at the fraud allegations, the more we saw that most of them were frivolous, and those that weren’t frivolous were simply not substantiated by the evidence.

As TGP has reported over and over, in Detroit, van loads of ballots arrived early in the morning after the election and Barr called this normal.

Police Drop Anti-Lockdown Incitement Charge Against Pregnant Woman Who was Arrested in Australia after Encouraging Her Facebook Friends to Attend an Anti-Lockdown Rally in 2020

A woman from Ballarat who was arrested due to a Facebook post condemning a lockdown situation in totalitarian Australia has had her case thrown out of court after fighting the charges for two years.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Zoe Buhler, now 30, was charged with incitement after police raided her Ballarat home last 2020. She was pregnant when she was handcuffed in front of her children.

The police were seen in the viral video raiding Buhler’s home and handcuffing her in front of her family. She had no idea she was breaking any laws. The police read her rights and then cuffed her.

“I wasn’t breaking any laws by doing that,” Buhler told to a police officer.

“I’m happy to delete the post. This is ridiculous.”

“My two kids are watching. I have an ultrasound in an hour, [and] I’m happy to delete the post.”

In the end, all charges against Buhler were dropped after a three-day hearing.

ABC.au reported:

In a statement, Victoria Police said they withdrew the single charge following an assessment of the case, determining it was “not in the public interest to continue with the prosecution”.

Ms Buhler, now 30 years old, said she was relieved but had “no regrets” outside the court this morning.

“I think it’s disgusting our rights and freedoms were taken away. I’ve pretty much felt that way the whole time,” Ms Buhler said.

“I’ll be considering my options going forward, especially with regards to being handcuffed while pregnant.”

Ms Buhler said she believed she had been experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the legal costs of contesting the incitement charges had been a burden.

Costs will be agreed upon between the parties at a later date.

“There was money raised to help with the costs of lawyers,” she added.

“I don’t even know how much [it was]. A ridiculous amount.”

Beijing slams ‘dangerous’ NATO claims

The bloc’s criticism of Russia-China cooperation in the Arctic underlines its Cold War mentality, the Foreign Ministry said

NATO’s claims that cooperation between Beijing and Moscow in the Arctic represents a ‘challenge’ signals that the alliance is still dwelling in the Cold War, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said on Wednesday.

“NATO falsely claimed that China-Russia cooperation poses a challenge to NATO’s values and interests, which once again exposed NATO’s attempt to export Cold War mentality,” he told reporters during a regular press briefing, adding that NATO should “discard this dangerous thinking” because it could destabilize the entire world.

The spokesman went on to stress that China “respects the sovereignty” and jurisdiction of the Arctic states in this region and has cooperated with various countries to promote regional development.

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg last week signaled that the bloc was poised to ramp up its military presence in the Arctic, arguing that Russia and China pose a “strategic challenge”. Global warming is unlocking ample opportunities for shipping and natural resource extraction in the region, a reality that could be exploited by “authoritarian regimes” like Russia and China, according to Stoltenberg.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov scoffed at the NATO head’s remarks, stressing Moscow’s cooperation with China in the Arctic poses no threat to any other country and is meant exclusively for development.

Sean Hannity: FBI Personnel Are Demanding Chris Wray Step Down – At Least 20 Whistleblowers Have Stepped Forward

According to Sean’s sources, there are now at least 20 whistleblowers who have stepped forward to speak to Congress.

The whistleblowers are demaning dirtbag Chris Wray step down as chief after destroying the agency’s reputation and allowing rampant corruption in the bureau.

Sean Hannity: According to their (the whistleblowers) attorney, “I’m hearing from (FBI personnel) that they feel like the director has lost control of the bureau,” he said. “They’re saying ‘Hows does this guy survive? He’s leaving. He’s got to go.”

Kerry Picket has more at The Washington Times.

The FBI is beyond redemption at this point. The American public knows the agency cannot be trusted.

The FBI is likely the most hated governmental body at this point. A bureau of lawless thugs.

Here’s a recent unscientific poll on trust in the FBI under dirtbag Chris Wray.

California Urges Avoiding Charging Electric Cars to Ward Off Blackouts in Heatwave Because State Loses Solar Power When the Sun Goes Down

Just days after passing a law banning new sales of gasoline powered cars by 2035, California is urging residents to avoid charging their electric vehicles during peak hours in the coming week to help ward off blackouts during an expected heatwave.

“During a Flex Alert, consumers are urged to reduce energy use from 4-9 p.m. when the system is most stressed because demand for electricity remains high and there is less solar energy available. The top three conservation actions are to set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles, and turn off unnecessary lights.“

…”If weather or grid conditions worsen,” the ISO bulletin said, the grid manager “may issue a series of emergency notifications to access additional resources and prepare market participants and the public for potential energy shortages and the need to conserve.”

That could well mean issuing a Flex Alert, a statewide request for customers to voluntarily reduce energy consumption from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Those are the hours when California’s grid is under the most pressure because production from solar decreases and eventually disappears in the evening hours — but the weather is still hot and energy demand remains high because people are still consuming electricity.

California ISO statement issued Tuesday:

HEAT BULLETIN

Aug. 30, 2022

Contact: ISOMedia@caiso.com

Excessive heat starting tomorrow will stress energy grid

Consumer conservation likely needed this weekend to avert power outages

FOLSOM, Calif. – Starting tomorrow through Tuesday, California and the West are expecting extreme heat that is likely to strain the grid with increased energy demands, especially over the holiday weekend.

Temperatures are forecast to begin rising Wednesday, August 31, intensifying through the holiday weekend and extending to early next week. In many areas of the West, temperatures are forecasted to hit triple digits and break records.

In what’s likely to be the most extensive heat wave in the West so far this year, temperatures in Northern California are expected to be 10-20 degrees warmer than normal through Tuesday, Sept. 6. In Southern California, temperatures are expected to be 10-18 degrees warmer than normal.

The ISO is taking measures to bring all available resources online. Restricted Maintenance Operations (RMO) have been issued for Wednesday, Aug. 31, through Tuesday, Sept. 6 from noon to 10 p.m. each day, due to high loads and temperatures across the state. During the RMO, market participants are ordered to avoid scheduled maintenance to ensure all available generation and transmission lines are in service.

The peak load for electricity is currently projected to exceed 48,000 megawatts (MW) on Monday, the highest of the year.

If weather or grid conditions worsen, the ISO may issue a series of emergency notifications to access additional resources and prepare market participants and the public for potential energy shortages and the need to conserve.

The power grid operator expects to call on Californians for voluntary energy conservation via Flex alerts over the long weekend.

During a Flex Alert, consumers are urged to reduce energy use from 4-9 p.m. when the system is most stressed because demand for electricity remains high and there is less solar energy available. The top three conservation actions are to set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles, and turn off unnecessary lights. Lowering electricity use during that time will ease strain on the system, and prevent more drastic measures, including rotating power outages.

Learn more about conserving energy or sign up for text notifications at www.FlexAlert.org.

The ISO continues to closely monitor conditions and will provide updates as necessary. To stay current with forecasted supply and demand conditions, and monitor emergency notifications, visit the ISO’s Today’s Outlook, download the free ISO Today mobile app, follow us on Twitter at @California_ISO, and check the News webpage for updated System Conditions Bulletins.

OUTRAGEOUS! Highest Missouri State Court Fines Kim Gardner ONLY $750 After She Admits to Wrongdoing in Greitens Case — Records Show 62 Acts of Misconduct

Crooked Soros-funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner got off easy by the state’s highest court.

The Missouri Supreme Court ruled on in April that far-left St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner must turn over communications with Soros operatives and Missouri political insiders related to her false case against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.

Former Governor Eric Greitens posted this tweet this afternoon.

A Missouri Appeals Court upheld a previous judge’s ruling in January against Soros-funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.

The court unanimously ruled Kim Gardner failed to file a timely response to reporter John Solomon from Just the News for information on her communications with political insiders and Soros operatives.

A court last year found that Kim Gardner engaged in 62 acts of misconduct and 79 false representations in her prosecution of Eric Greitens.

Kim Gardner already faces a misconduct probe for illicit conduct in her plot to take down popular Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.

UPDATE — GARDNER SKATES!

The Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel ruled in April that Gardner will face no disciplinary action for her lawlessness that resulted in the removal of popular Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.

On Tuesday the state’s highest court fined Gardner only $750 for her offenses and lawlessness.

KMOV reported:

Tuesday, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner was ordered to pay a fine for her handling of the criminal case against former Gov. Eric Grietens.

In April, Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner appeared before the Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which oversees attorney’s bar licenses, in a St. Louis County courthouse for claims of prosecutorial misconduct. She was accused in a 73-page report of failing to disclose evidence to Greitens’ lawyers, misrepresenting evidence, and other ethical violations. Gardner hired William Tisaby as a private investigator for the case. Tisaby, who has since pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for tampering with evidence in the case, interviewed a woman at the center of the Greitens case. Greitens was accused of knowingly taking a photograph of a woman in a “state of full or partial nudity without the knowledge and consent”.

Both sides accepted to reprimand, which is a formal acknowledgment that will go on Gardner’s license forever. According to documents, Chief Justice Paul Wilson ordered Gardner to pay a fine of $750.

What a complete joke. Gardner took out a very popular conservative governor based on false testimony and 79 false representations and all she got was a slap on the wrist.

What an outrageous result.

JPMorgan's Frankfurt Offices Raided As Part Of Cum-Ex Tax Fraud Probe

German lawmakers have called it the "greatest tax heist" in history: the loophole in the tax law of Germany, Denmark, and the UK to pocket hundreds of millions of euros, if not billions, via a trading strategy known as "Cum-Ex" - or "With-Without."

In the past, we have noted Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Barclays Plc, and Bank of America Corp.'s Merrill Lynch's Frankfurt offices were raided as part of a money laundering probe.

This week, JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Frankfurt office was raided as part of a widening Cum-Ex scandal centered on cross-border tax fraud.

"A spokesman for Cologne prosecutors on Wednesday said searches at an unidentified bank started on Tuesday and included the homes of four suspects and an auditing firm that isn't a target in the probe. More than 50 officers are involved, including specialists, to unearth evidence buried in emails," Bloomberg reported Wednesday morning.

JPMorgan confirmed to Reuters that their "Frankfurt offices were visited this week" by "German authorities on their ongoing investigation" in the share-trading scheme that cost taxpayers billions of euros.

Cum-Ex reportedly diverted "at least 10 billion euros" in government revenue by exploiting German tax laws that allowed multiple investors to claim refunds of a tax on dividends that were paid only once, Bloomberg reported.

For those who aren't familiar with Cum-Ex, here's a quick rundown showing how it works, courtesy of the Conversation:

Party One, typically an asset manager who owns valuable company shares, "lends" its stock to Party Two, a bank. Under the agreement, the title and ownership of the stock is temporarily transferred to the borrower in return for a fee. Such practices are not only legal but a common part of "short selling," the practice featured in the 2015 film The Big Short. Essentially, it is where an investor borrows a stock (for a fee), sells it, then buys it back later at a lower price to return it to the original – on the expectation the stock's value will fall and a profit made.

Party Two then sells the shares with-dividend to Party Three fractionally before the Record Date. However, the shares are delivered without-dividend just after.

Timing, speed and complexity are key. Like a magic trick, the shares "disappear" fractionally before the Record Date and "reappear" with a new owner just after. The aim is to obscure exactly who – Party One, Two or Three – owns the stock on the Record Date. As a result, two parties can simultaneously claim ownership of the one stock.

Up until 2011, a loophole in the German tax code allowed both Party One (the owner of the original stock who had received the dividend and paid tax on it) and Party Three (the holder of the stock just after the Record Date) to claim a tax reimbursement. All colluding parties would then split the gains.

The practice was abolished in 2012, but prosecutors in Cologne are probing about 1,500 people and increasing pressure on international banks.

Former US Postal Service employee was removed from Georgia’s sex offender registry only to re-offend months later

Stacy Keith Wisener was removed from Georgia’s sex offender registry in 2017 by a Paulding County Superior Court judge. A few months later, Wisener began sexually molesting an 11-year-old girl. The abuse continued for approximately four years, the Justice Department reported.

The now 60-year-old former U.S. Postal Service employee was sentenced to three decades in prison for abusing the young girl, producing child pornography, and stealing mail.

“Wisener’s decision to continue to exploit children, even after working to get off the sex offender registry, now puts him in prison for decades,” said Keri Farley, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta.

Wisener was placed on Georgia’s sex offender registry in 2003 after he pleaded guilty to molesting a child under the age of 16. For that crime, Wisener dodged jail time and was instead sentenced to probation.

Wisener remained on the registry for 14 years. He petitioned the court in 2017, asking to be removed from the list, and his request was granted. A few months later, Wisener began abusing his next underage victim.

To be removed from a sex offender registry, Georgia law requires that the Sex Offender Registration and Review Board consider the individual low-risk. During the hearing for removal, the judge must also agree that the offender is not likely to commit another sex crime.

In October 2021, the latest victim came forward and accused Wisener of molesting her since she was 11 years old. She told her parents and law enforcement that he would often take photographs and record videos of the abuse.

Authorities searched Wisener’s home and seized multiple data storage devices that were found to contain child pornography, including photographs and videos of Wisener abusing the victim.

During the search, law enforcement also discovered thousands of pieces of unopened mail and packages not belonging to Wisener. The Georgia man had stolen the mail from his place of employment at the Postal Service processing and distribution facility.

The 60-year-old pleaded guilty to federal child exploitation and stolen mail possession charges. Wisener was sentenced to 30 years in prison, ordered to pay $175,000 in restitution, $5,200 for special assessment, required to re-register as a sex offender, and required to forfeit his home residence.

Delaware Statute of Limitations Law Exempts Alleged Joe Biden Molestation of Daughter Ashle

Biden's daughter described "showers with my dad" that were "probably not appropriate."

The Delaware Statute of Limitations was updated in 2007 and its readjusted laws refuse Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley any potential legal recourse should she ever go forward with a lawsuit against her father, President Joe Biden, for “probably not appropriate” showers President Biden allegedly took with her.

Documents from Ashley Biden’s personal diary were published by National File in 2020. Ashley described “showers with my dad” that were “probably not appropriate.”

She also journaled how she believes she was molested as a child and remembers “being somewhat sexualized.”

Under Biden’s former state of residency, Delaware, Ashley would have no legal way to confront, in the court of law, her father over any abuse. This is because:

“The two-year statute of limitations does not apply to minor victims of sexual abuse. In 2007 Delaware enacted a specific exception for minors, children under the age of 18, who were sexually abused by an adult. If a minor was sexually abused after 2007, they have an unlimited amount of time to file a civil lawsuit. This includes lawsuits brought by their parents or legal guardians. The 2007 change in the statute of limitations reflects the hard work advocacy groups have been doing across the country to help protect the legal rights of children who are victims of abuse.”

This means any victim of childhood abuse that occurred earlier than 2007 is unable to submit a sexual abuse lawsuit in the state’s court.

Ashley Biden was born in 1981 and is currently 41 years old.

FBI Official Accused of Blocking Probe Into Hunter Biden Says He Retired, Wasn’t Fired

An FBI official who has been accused of blocking an investigation into President Joe Biden’s son stepped down this month, lawyers representing the official confirmed to The Epoch Times on Aug. 31.

Timothy Thibault “voluntarily retired” and “was not fired, not forced to retire, and not asked to retire,” lawyers with Morrison & Foerster LLP said in an emailed statement.

Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge at the FBI’s Washington Field Office, was “escorted” out of the office on Aug. 26, the Washington Times reported. Thibault was “walked out of the FBI,” CBS reported. Both outlets cited anonymous officials.

Thibault turned in his security badge and “walked with two long-time special agent friends through the field office to finish processing his paperwork,” Thibault’s lawyers said. “He walked out of the building by himself. Claims to the contrary are false.”

Thibault was eligible for retirement after working for over 30 years for the government and he informed his bosses about a month before his retirement about his intention to retire, his lawyers say.

The FBI declined to comment.

Garland Reiterates Policy Banning DOJ Employees From Communicating With Congress

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memo Tuesday reiterating the prohibition on Department of Justice (DOJ) employees communicating with Congress.

The memo directed DOJ employees to an existing guideline restricting DOJ employees’ communication with federal lawmakers, Senate and House committees and congressional staff. Garland explained that these rules help the DOJ prevent political interference in the department’s activities.

“Like the policies regarding communications with the White House, these policies ‘are designed to protect our criminal and civil law enforcement decisions, and our legal judgements, from partisan or other inappropriate influence, whether real or perceived, direct or indirect,'” the memo read. Garland also cited a section of the department’s manual that explained the guidelines also help preserve Congress’ ability to “carry out its legitimate investigatory and oversight functions.”

The memo reiterated DOJ’s policy that all communication with members of Congress is subject to approval by the Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA). This policy requires the Assistant Attorney General for the OLA to manage all communications between department members and Congress “to ensure that relevant Department or Executive Branch interests are fully protected.”

“No Department employee may communicate with Senators, Representatives, congressional committees, or congressional staff without advance coordination, consultation, and approval by OLA,” the policy states. “All congressional inquiries and correspondence from Members, committees, and staff should be immediately directed to OLA upon receipt.”

Garland issued a separate memo Tuesday prohibiting politically appointed DOJ officials from participating in political events. The memo revoked exceptions that allowed “non-career appointees” to attend partisan political events for “close family members who were running for political office” and to attend events for non-relative candidates “in their personal capacities on the evening of Election Day.”

“As Department employees, we have been entrusted with the authority and responsibility to enforce the laws of the United States in a neutral and impartial manner,” the memo read. “In fulfilling this responsibility, we must do all we can to maintain public trust and ensure that politics — both in fact and appearance — does not compromise or affect the integrity of our work.”

These orders come as the DOJ and FBI face accusations of political bias following the Aug. 8 raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence. Trump and other figures on the political right have accused the DOJ of practicing a double standard by investigating Trump more aggressively than Hunter Biden.

Police Reopen Investigation into Alleged Child Rape Gang After Initial Inquiry Failed to Result in Charges

Police in the UK have announced that they are reopening an investigation into an alleged child rape gang in Hull after its first inquiry into the matter resulted in 34 arrests, but no convictions.

Having utterly failed to bring any alleged perpetrator to justice in its initial investigation of the matter, police in the UK have announced that they will reopen the inquiry into an alleged child rape gang that reportedly operated in Hull.

Police, state officials, and members of the UK’s so-called ‘Conservative’ Party government have at this point repeatedly failed to bring members of predominantly-Pakistani Muslim child rape gangs to justice in a timely manner. There have now been several investigations and inquiries into matters related to state worker and police negligence, but these have resulted in little being done to hold those who were in authority and who, it is claimed, looked the other way while abuse went on to account.

However, according to an official press release published by Humberside Police on Tuesday, authorities will now reopen their Operation Marksman investigation into goings on in Hull after a report by a police oversight body in the UK recommended that they do so.

“We have continuously reviewed the investigation and in 2021, chief officers commissioned a review of the investigation so far by Hydrant, who are national experts in this complex area of investigation,” the statement reports the force’s Assistant Chief Constable, David Marshall, as saying.

“Based on Hydrant’s evidential review of Op Marksman, Humberside Police have taken the decision to establish a new investigative team and recommence the investigation,” he continued. “The investigation team will focus on a number of lines of enquiry, with the victims being updated and receiving our full support.”

The senior officer went on to say that the Humberside force is not going to release any further information at this time in order to “protect” the “integrity” of the investigation.

“When we are at a stage where releasing further detail will not impact or jeopardise any criminal or judicial proceedings, we will of course look to communicate this information,” the senior law enforcement agent went on to say.

California advances bill to become a sanctuary state for transgender minors

On Monday, California legislators advanced a bill that, if passed, would position it to become a sanctuary state for transgender children and their parents.

The bill would provide legal refuge to parents of transgender minors from other states who have had their custody rights removed, reported California's KCRA. This new measure is similar to California's recent abortion sanctuary bill.

The measure was sent to the Senate for a final vote following an approved 48-16 vote from the Assembly.

Democrat Senator Scott Wiener proposed the legislation in response to conservative states restricting sex change surgeries and hormone replacement therapy for minors. Wiener stated that 19 other states have also proposed similar bills.

The Victory Institute reported in May, that 16 states were considering trans refuge bills including, "Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia."

The California bill hopes to shield parents from having their custody revoked or facing potential criminal charges for allowing their children to participate in gender-altering medical care.

"Trans kids and their parents are being criminalized and used as political punching bags by right-wing zealots," Wiener stated. "No one should ever have to worry about being separated from their child simply for allowing that child to be who they are."

If passed, California will dismiss rulings from out-of-state judges who order a child to be removed from parental custody for reasons related to allowing gender-affirming treatment. It would prevent other states from requesting medical information about children who traveled to the state to receive gender-affirming care. Additionally, it would stop arrests and extraditions of parents and guardians charged in other states for allowing an underage person to receive the medical care.

In an interview with the Washington Watch, Greg Burt of the California Family Council said, "Of course, Senator Wiener is acting like this is a bill to protect parental rights."

Burt stated that the bill says, "If a minor makes it to California – even is brought here by someone who is not their custodial parent – California will allow the courts to take jurisdiction of their child temporarily so they can get these maiming treatments." He accused California of "declaring war on parenthood."

Google manager resigns after criticising deal with Israel

A manager with Google in the US has resigned due to what she described as retaliation, a hostile environment and illegal measures by the company following her support for a letter from Google and Amazon employees protesting against the companies' $1.2 billion collaboration with the Israeli military on a programme called Project Nimbus. The project facilitates surveillance of Palestinians and helps to expand Israeli settlements, all of which are illegal under international law.

The marketing manager for Google's educations products, Ariel Koren, said that she was forced to leave her job at the major search engine because of the company's hostile behaviour against her after she rejected the signing of a contract with the occupation government for $1 billion. Koren, 28, explained that her line manager gave her an ultimatum to either move to Brazil or lose her job. She tweeted that she was employed by Google for over seven years.

"Instead of listening to employees who want Google to live up to its ethical principles, Google is aggressively pursuing military contracts and stripping away the voices of its employees through a pattern of silencing and retaliation towards me and many others," tweeted Koren. She called on Amazon and Google employees to read about the Nimbus project, and urged employees at both companies to stand against it.

"We prohibit retaliation in the workplace and publicly share our very clear policy," a Google spokeswoman told the New York Times. "We thoroughly investigated this employee's claim, as we do when any concerns are raised."

The spokeswoman noted that the company is proud to have been chosen by the Israeli government to provide public cloud computing services to help transform the country digitally.

Alleged Israeli airstrike targets Aleppo airport - report

This is the first alleged Israeli airstrike to target the Aleppo airport since 2019.

Alleged Israeli airstrikes targeted the international airport in Aleppo in northern Syria, according to Syrian state news agency SANA.

The state news agency claimed that only material damage was caused in the strikes.

According to Syrian reports, air defense systems near Latakia, located southwest of Aleppo, were activated in an attempt to intercept the missiles headed towards Aleppo.

Airstrike comes less than a week after last alleged Israeli airstrike

The airstrike comes less than a week after alleged Israeli airstrikes targeted the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in Masyaf, located southwest of Aleppo. Two civilians were reportedly injured in the strikes and material damage was caused. The strikes sparked a number of fires.

Satellite imagery from Planet showed large areas around the SSRC in Masyaf damaged by fires. According to Syrian reports, secondary explosions continued for hours after the strikes along with blazes caused by the strikes. Local residents were reportedly instructed to shelter in place until the fires were brought under control.

While a number of alleged Israeli airstrikes have targeted sites near Aleppo in recent years, the last alleged Israeli airstrike that targeted the airport was reported in 2019.

Earlier this year, after alleged Israeli airstrikes destroyed runways at the Damascus International Airport, Iranian airlines suspected of smuggling weapons and equipment to Iran-backed militias in Syria and Lebanon reportedly began landing in Aleppo instead of Damascus.
