the WSJ report on McCabe being conflicted was on 10/23/16
McCabe was pissed but danced around with comms with various attorneys (Kelley, Baker) and others to determine if he should recuse from Clinton investigation
he was "out of town" on 10/27….where could he have been? hmmmmm
He finally did recuse on 11/1/16 but this was not released to the public
OIG finds no relationship between McCabe(s) and Clinton/ through Terry McAulife and no reason McCabe would have been required to recuse.
(combing 480-520 and a few pages in thus far)
also, OIG finds that FBI created more problems in the public domain by not publicizing that Mccabe had recused. Did not notify Grassley as well. OIG says…so, why bother recusing for appearances sake if you hide it?
