First thing I learned in college was how to turn back on the water, cable and electric.

Can't do that with smart-meters.

 

I had to pay a monthly fee for walk-up readings, but they did not install the digital one. California would just cut off your power.

One his last acts, Brown put the Cali taxpayer on the hook for any losses by the electric providers. Right around when this area (sitting over lots of gold) all caught fire.

Can you effectively sue the government?

 

I had to argue about the smart meter, but most localities are controlled by one company. You are right, and even if you have panels or old-fashioned windmills, you still need juice to start it now a days.

 

Sometimes you need electricity and can't pay today.
