Jean-Pierre: The MAGA agenda…is one of the most extreme agendas that we have seen…it is the extreme part of the republican party…they are threatening political violence.
Jean-Pierre: We understand that they are trying to hide. And we understand that Ultra-MAGA officeholders want to play games and dodge accountability for their extreme proposals and actions, but they're just telling on themselves.

Jean-Pierre: We are going to do everything that we can to make sure that we take care of the families, the American families, that are still in Afghanistan, and also our friends and allies in Afghanistan as well.

It's about the American democracy…this is so much broader, so much bigger, than any one party, than any one person…[it's about] what we can do, what can be done to beat back the forces that are threatening us.
Jean-Pierre: We must repair the damage that was done by the last administration. The mismanagement that was done by the last administration…which is why we passed the American Rescue Plan, which is why we put in $130 billion to deal with what we were seeing in schools.

Jean-Pierre: We're talking about building economic wealth…generational wealth that 's so important for black and brown communities that they don't have. That's what the American Rescue Plan does…helps folks start small businesses so they can develop that generational wealth.

Jean-Pierre: The national ban on abortion is extreme…it is taking away people's rights. It is taking away people's freedoms. Jean-Pierre: We're not talking about millions of voters, we're talking about MAGA officeholders who have put forth an agenda that takes away people's rights…the majority of Americans don't support what the MAGA republicans in congress are doing. That's a fact. That's what polling shows us.
Jean-Pierre: Look, we just passed the Inflation Reduction Act, which is going to change people's lives, and is the most historic investment that we have seen in this country to deal with climate change. To deal with energy.
