For the WH press corps she definitely is a treasure.
As corrupt and incompetent as they are, it would literally be a chip-shot for any press secretary to make their lives miserable enough that they cut out the bullshit (or quit) But yet she manages to be the perfect walflower. They must feel really safe with her.
