Judge releases more detailed list of items seized by FBI from Mar-a-Lago

A federal judge in Florida on Friday released a list of materials the FBI seized from former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort that reportedly includes a mix of "top secret" documents, such personal items as photographs and other materials.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon unsealed the list before deciding on whether to appoint a special master, or a third-party overseer, to review the materials seized in the Aug. 8 raid, as part of the Justice Department's probe into whether Trump left the White House in 2021 with materials that were supposed to go to the National Archives.

Whether the list released Friday catalogues additional items or is a definitive list is unclear.

Trump and his lawyers say he had declassified some material, while others are protected by attorney-client privilege.

Among the reportedly seized boxes of documents from the Florida estate were the photographs and at least 24 classified documents.

The list also included 15 "secret" documents, seven "top secret" documents and 43 empty folders with "classified" banners from a box seized from Trump's office.

There were also28 empty folders labeled "return to staff secretary military aide" taken from the former president's office. (I wonder if they were red folders)

Similar items were also taken from a storage room at the estate.

Many magazine and newspaper articles were also reportedly seized, in addition to numerous government documents that had no classification markings.

Texas Authorities Stop Smugglers From Flying Charter Plane Of Illegal Migrants To Houston

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) stopped two suspected smugglers Wednesday from flying a charter plane containing over a dozen illegal migrants from the border to Houston, Texas.

A DPS pilot thwarted the alleged smuggling attempt in Edinburg, Texas, which is along the border, with the arrests of two alleged human smugglers, according to a Thursday tweet posted by the DPS South Texas. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) authorities responded to the event and two vehicle chases ensued, where a DPS vehicle was struck.

The alleged smugglers were attempting to transport 13 illegal migrants from the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, according to the tweet.

CBP authorities have encountered over 1,900.000 migrants at the southern border between October and July, according to agency statistics. In December 2021, a small airplane crashed in Presidio, Texas, where a pilot attempted to smuggle illegal migrants, according to KFOX14.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott launchedOperation Lone Star in March 2021 to surge state resources, including DPS authorities to the border amid the surge in illegal migrant encounters.

“The crisis at our southern border continues to escalate because of Biden Administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration. Texas supports legal immigration but will not be an accomplice to the open border policies that cause, rather than prevent, a humanitarian crisis in our state and endanger the lives of Texans,” Abbott saidat the time.

‘Fill Our Heads With Stupid’: John Kennedy Reacts To Biden’s Speech

Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy criticized President Joe Biden’s speech for having a divisive and cynical message on “Fox & Friends” Friday morning.

The Louisiana senator said the president had a “missed opportunity” in the speech to address the issues directly impacting the American people. The president attacked former President Donald Trump and “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) Republicans for their alleged “extremism.”

“I’d make three points. Number one, after listening to the president’s speech, I really understand why it’s an unassailable fact that age does not guarantee wisdom,” Kennedy began. “Number two … Biden, we saw last night, was really every inch ‘Joe Biden the Politician.’ His speech was a very cynical attempt to fill our heads with stupid.

“And number three, I thought to myself, what a missed opportunity,” the senator continued. “To talk to the American people straight up about the reasons [for] when they lie down and sleep at night, they can’t. He could’ve talked about crime; inflation; learning loss by our children; the mountains of fentanyl coming across the border, killing our teenagers. Instead, he chose to say to the American people, if you don’t agree with me about higher taxes, more government; if you don’t agree with me that moms are ‘birthing people;’ if you don’t agree with me that government has a constitutional right to talk to your 5-year-old about sexuality, you’re a bad person, and you’re not even an American.”

The president said former President Donald Trump and “Make America Great Again” Republicans “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” He added they do not believe the rule of law or respect the Constitution by refusing to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election and opposing abortion, contraception and gay marriage.

Kennedy said the “MAGA Republicans” the president referred to simply do not agree with Biden’s agenda.

“That sounds like a long winded description and definition of what Secretary [Hillary] Clinton called ‘deplorables.’ The people that President Biden is talking about, some of whom supported President Trump, some didn’t, are the people who get up everyday, go to work, obey the law, pay their taxes, try to teach their kids morals … they are proud of America, they do want to make America great again. They just don’t agree with President Biden’s neo-socialist, woke agenda.

“They don’t believe in bigger government, they don’t believe in higher taxes, they don’t believe in more spending, they don’t believe in more regulation, they don’t believe in more debt, they don’t believe that we ought to turn our cops into social workers,” Kennedy continued. “They don’t believe that stuff and I think it’s…I’m very disappointed that the president would call people who disagree with him those kind of names. I just think he’s made a political mistake but it says something about his administration.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has repeatedly doubled down on calling “MAGA Republicans” extremists, threats to democracy and comparing their philosophy to “semi-fascism.” She said during a press briefing Thursday that those who disagree with the “majority of Americans” are “extreme.”

CNN’s John Harwood Announces He’s Leaving The Network

CNN White House correspondent John Harwood announced Friday that he is departing the network, marking the latest change in staffing as the network attempts to erase partisan voices.

Harwood is the latest reporter to leave the network since CNN President Chris Licht announced efforts make coverage more non-partisan. He did not appear to have any definite future plans.

“Today is my last day at CNN,” he tweeted. “Proud of my work. Thanks to my colleagues. I’ve been lucky to serve the best in American media—St. Petersburg Times, WSJ, NYT, the NBC family, CNN. Look forward to figuring out what’s next.”

His departure appeared sudden and came recently after former CNN anchor Brian Stelter exited the network over the cancelation of his program, “Reliable Sources.” Licht, who joined the network in April, has deliberated the future of the liberal staff at the network, including Stelter and anchor Jim Acosta, due to concerns that partisan voices will harm the network.

Liberty Media chairman John Malone, the largest shareholder of CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, initially suggested that the network revert to non-partisan coverage.

A CNN spokesperson did not have any background information on the reporter’s sudden departure, but expressed the network’s appreciation for Harwood’s coverage of the White House.

“We appreciate John’s work covering the White House, and we wish him all the best,” the spokesperson told the Daily Caller.

Harwood joined the network in January 2020 after serving as a reporter and editor-at-large at CNBC. He has a long history of openly bashing former President Donald Trump and Republicans. A leaked Wikileaks email from 2015 showed that Harwood asked Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta about what questions to ask in an upcoming interview with former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

When he first joined CNN, Brian Fallon, the national press secretary for former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, saidHarwood “brings humility and honesty” to his coverage.

The journalist also defended MS-13 members after Trump referred to them as “animals” in May 2018, calling them “human beings.”

He came under fire for previously claiming that journalists have a difficult time in their coverage because the Republican Party “is fundamentally broken,” Fox News reported. The anchor came under fire in March for telling CNN’s “New Day” there is “no evidence” that President Joe Biden had any connection to his son, Hunter’s, business dealings.

On his final day on the job, he praised Biden’s speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, where he labeled Trump and “MAGA Republicans” as extremists posing a threat to democracy, Fox News reported. The now-former White House correspondent affirmed the president’s remarks as “true.”

Extinction Rebellion, an international group of climate activists, announced on Friday that they used superglue, which is a petroleum-based adhesive, to stick themselves to the area surrounding the speaker’s chair inside the U.K. House of Commons chamber to demand further climate action from the government.

Five demonstrators broke into the parliament chamber and held up signs that read “Let the people decide” and “Citizens’ assembly now” after supergluing themselves, according to a Twitter post. Cyanoacrylate glue, also known as superglue, is a powerful adhesive that is made of synthetic polymers that are sourced from petroleum, according to sustainability news site Green Matters.

“We are in crisis and what goes on in this room every single day makes a joke out of all of us, we cannot afford to go on like this,” one of the demonstrators said in a video. “We need a new way of making decisions where more voices are heard.”

Extinction Rebellion advocates against the use of fossil fuels, such as petroleum, to generate electricity as this creates large amounts of planet-warming emissions and pollution, according to its website. The activists also warn of a “mass extinction” caused by climate change if governments and businesses fail to take drastic measures to cool the planet.

The protest comes amid the upcoming election of Britain’s new Conservative prime minister on Sept. 5, the BBC reported. Meanwhile, Britain is facing an energy crisis as individuals and businesses are struggling to pay energy bills amid soaring fuel prices.

Maryland Clinic To Offer Late-Term Abortions Months After Baby Can Survive Outside Womb

An obstetrician-gynecologist is opening an all-trimester abortion clinic in College Park, Maryland, that will perform abortions as late as 34 weeks, or eight and a half months, according to NPR.

The clinic, Partners in Abortion Care, plans to offer late-term abortions to women traveling from states with abortion restrictions in light of Roe v. Wade being overturned, according to NPR. Children are considered “viable,” or likely to survive,at 24 weeks, and at 34 weeks they have a 95% survival rate and the same long-term health outcomes as babies born full-term.

“Every time we draw a line and we say ‘no more abortions after this point,’ someone’s going to fall on the other side of that line, and they’re going to be harmed,” Dr. Diane Horvath, co-owner of the clinic, told NPR.

Partners in Abortion Care is using second-hand equipment from a Savannah, Georgia, abortion clinic that shut its doors after the state banned most abortions after six weeks, according to NPR. The clinic’s leadership views the equipment transfer as symbolic.

“I was thinking about how Georgia lost access to abortion, like, this week. And we’re getting this equipment from them. So — it feels very heavy,” Horvath told NPR.”We’re going to take good care of the equipment. … We keep talking about it as ‘rehoming.'”

Two New Hampshire integrity groups, the Government Integrity Project and the New Hampshire Voter Integrity Group informed The Gateway Pundit of a new lawsuit filed in the “Live Free or Die” state. The lawsuit names Harri Hursti and LHS Associates as plaintiffs, alleging that they were responsible for the destruction of election evidence that was to be maintained and kept under a state and federal mandates.

The Gateway Pundit covered the “Windham Audit” thoroughly back in 2021. After several Republican candidates gained a significant amount of votes in a hand count, and the Democrat candidate lost votes, the town erupted in calls for an audit. It started out as a courageous effort spearheaded by patriots like Ken Eyring of the Government Integrity Project, who helped draft the audit legislation, Senate Bill 43. This bill, however, was amended to allow for corruption to seep in and alter how the “auditors” were selected.

One of the auditors selected was Harri Hurst. In addition to all of the “chosen” auditors having a connection to Verified Voting, Hursti also had a business relationship with New Hampshire previously. His company, Nordic Innovation Labs, was contracted to assess the security of the voting machines in New Hampshire. The machines he assessed were the same voting machines he notoriously hacked on camera in Leon County, Florida in 2005. As a result, Hursti should have recused himself from the nomination for a conflict of interest.

In May of 2021, Jeff Silvestro, an agent of the town of Windham and an agent of the State of New Hampshire provided instructions to the lead auditor, Harri Hursti, who knowingly deleted and destroyed the data from the 2020 election by resetting the –memory cards to “pre- election status” without making a copy of the cards. Hursti was aware that resetting the memory cards in the Windham audit would in fact remove the data and any malware present that may have played a part in manipulating vote totals.

The relief sought is as follows:

The Radical Mob Is Rewarded, While Innocent Americans Will Be Crushed by Biden’s Student Loan Stunt

Last Wednesday, President Biden made his big announcement about how he plans to handle America’s $1.8 trillion (and growing) student loan bubble.

Biden’s plan grants $10,000 in relief for everyone with outstanding undergraduate student loans making less than $125,000, plus an additional $10,000 in relief for anyone who used a Pell Grant to attend college. The announcement cancels all remaining student loans for about 20 million people, and more than 20 million others will have at least part of their debt removed.

President Biden also extended the pause on student loan repayments, begun by Donald Trump in 2020, for another five months, but insisted this extension will be the last one and that payments will resume come 2023.

What to make of all this?

1. If you’re a responsible member of the middle class, then get f*cked.

Suppose you followed the playbook of middle-class, so-called “bourgeois” values: careful planning, responsibility, thrift. When it comes to America’s bloated college industrial complex, this creates a lot of options. Some people work a job on the side so they can attend school without taking out loans. Some people choose a cheaper or less distinguished school so they can get a scholarship, potentially hobbling their long-term career prospects for the sake of avoiding debt. Some people do a stint in the military to get G.I. Bill benefits. And of course, millions of parents save for decades to enable themselves to pay for a child’s education without them using loans.

The message of Wednesday’s development is, screw all of those suckers.

Bourgeois values are values that look to the long term. They are ideal for a stable, functional, healthy society whose institutions reward good behavior and punish or discourage poor behavior. For centuries, America was a country like that, and so those with good habits thrived.

But America is crossing the tipping point, where the most politically rewarding path is to provide handouts to the less capable, less responsible, and less worthy. In the decay of the American Empire, we are firmly into the “strip it for resources” phase.

This isn’t your country anymore, bud. Enjoy the $500 billion bill.

2.Never expect gratitude.

So, are all the beneficiaries of America’s largesse grateful in the slightest? Haha, dream on.

President Biden literally went before the country and announced that he was giving away $10,000 to millions of people, and $20,000 to millions more, as long as they were poor enough to have received a Pell Grant. Like any current Democratic proposal aimed at the poor, it was intentionally designed to heap subsidies upon black Americans. Forty-six percent of blacks who attend college get a Pell Grant, so Biden basically just gave $20,000 to half of America’s blacks who ever attended college.The White House’s announcement even bragged that the relief had been carefully designed to disfavor whites versus other groups.

What was the response? From many, sneers.

The Hill collected several hundred words of whining for a Thursday article, “Biden student loan plan leaves Black borrowers wanting more.” Several people complained that the Biden administration had not explicitly given extra money to higher-income blacks while excluding whites based on skin color:

In 2016, South Side Chicago native James Alford proudly became the first in his family to graduate from college.

But that sense of pride was marred by student loans. When Alford graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in Black studies, he was around $50,000 in debt.

Now, at 30, with his Master of Science in adult and higher education, that number is closer to $120,000.

“It’s cool, but it really doesn’t mean anything,” said Alford. “I feel like there were promises for more, and I feel like more could be done to ease the burden on people of color and first generation students.”…

“While I am a higher earner and am better off than someone making a fraction of what I make, I still live paycheck to paycheck in NYC and am already freaking out about the repayment pause ending in December,” Leonard told The Hill in an email.

“I come from a low-income family and sometimes help family members financially,” he added. “There should be some kind of forgiveness for recipients who are ‘high earners’ but are economically disadvantaged compared to the large majority of high earners (i.e higher earning white people).”

Black people, once again, are shouldering an outsized burden. In addition to making disproportionately less money than their fellow white Americans, Black Americans have one-sixth the wealth of White Americans on an average, per capita basis. It is no surprise, then, that Black families borrow at higher rates than their non-Black counterparts, and that they owe more. According to the Brookings Institute, “differences in interest accrual and graduate school borrowing lead to Black graduates holding nearly $53,000 in student loan debt four years after graduation—almost twice as much as their white counterparts.” It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that ten-thousand dollars of relief will benefit white people more than Black people.

American taxpayers (that is, disproportionately whites) are giving away $20,000 to low-income blacks, and in return what they get are screeds that it isn’t enough, and that more — far more — must be taken from them.

1. Biden’s announcement isn’t just about debt. It’s about providing colleges free money, forever.

Coverage of Biden’s announcement has focused on his $10,000 loan jubilee. But far less attention has been given to far-reaching changes Biden is making to the loan repayment process going forward. As listed in the administration’s announcement:

[T]he Department of Education is proposing a rule to do the following:

For undergraduate loans, cut in half the amount that borrowers have to pay each month from 10% to 5% of discretionary income.

Raise the amount of income that is considered non-discretionary income and therefore is protected from repayment, guaranteeing that no borrower earning under 225% of the federal poverty level—about the annual equivalent of a $15 minimum wage for a single borrower—will have to make a monthly payment.

Forgive loan balances after 10 years of payments, instead of 20 years, for borrowers with original loan balances of $12,000 or less. The Department of Education estimates that this reform will allow nearly all community college borrowers to be debt-free within 10 years.

Cover the borrower’s unpaid monthly interest, so that unlike other existing income-driven repayment plans, no borrower’s loan balance will grow as long as they make their monthly payments—even when that monthly payment is $0 because their income is low.
