Nostalgia turning in my own head.
More than thirty years later now, i think of my own experience. I now with absolute certainty, that i myself encountered massive corruption in the US armed service… while ALWAYS maintaining that NOT EVERYONE was rotten. Yet for whatever reason/s… the good ones simply could not overcome the tide of corruption.
The Bad Ones held sway, and thirty years later i think of how [they] have done such a slow and steady march of hollowing out the US military of so many good people.
Ya… sure, there could be a few Good Apples still ‘inside’… but i have ample and demonstrable reasons to be doubtful.
What i can conclude… is that two fold the US Military is a massively costly impediment to America. In one hand, it is so adrift philosophically… it is highly likely that it could easily follow unlawful orders to pound AGAINST America.
In the other hand, it is now so inept… i do not worry much about it.
