My home is a sentient being, well loved by the previous owner and cursed to always have three things wrong at a time.
I fix something and within 24 hours there will be something else wrong.
19 years of chasing leaks and sewage clogs and major shit dying and floors falling in etc.. etc…
I often start a new project by resisting the temptation to just fix it with a blowtorch.
