I had a blast going back at 42. Nobody got indoctrinated in the bullshit classes I HAD to take.
Had a Professor try spinning a shitstorm on reunification of Germany and how all the Germans wanted it.
I called "Hundescheiße" (I couldn't remember how to say bullshit.)
She asked how I know and I explained I lived there then. Went on to take over the class that day spinning yarns about what the end of the cold war was like as a soldier. AND having never met one single West German who wanted unification. I lived really close the East German border too, so that whole divided family crap went out the window.
